Charming holiday homes in Trutnov

Trutnov is a lovey town in the north of the Czech Republic, not far from the border with neighbouring Poland. Trutnov is located on the river Úpa and is called the "gateway to the ‘Giant Mountains”. And this is no surprise because when you rent a holiday home in Trutnov, the nature of this beautiful mountain landscape is literally around the corner. From November to February, the entire region turns into a winter wonderland with snowy hills and mountains. Close to Trutnov, there are a few small but beautiful slopes where you can enjoy skiing and snowboarding. In the immediate vicinity of your holiday home, beautiful routes have also been set out for cross-country skiing. For a more serious winter sports holiday, you can also visit the larger areas of Spindleruv Mlyn and Harrachov, only an hour down the road.

Enjoy yourself the whole year round

When spring comes, the white slopes give way to green fields, grazing lambs and nesting birds. Then the region turns into a paradise for walking and cycling against the beautiful backdrop of the Giant Mountains. Not far from Trutnov is Dolce Vita, a beautiful natural lake where you can go swimming or hire a boat or pedal boat and enjoy a few relaxing hours on the water. A visit to Dvur Kralove, the largest zoo in the Czech Republic, is also highly recommended. You can even visit a real safari park. Finally, Trutnov itself is also a nice place to be. It has a wide choice of boutiques, restaurants and nice cafes, so there are plenty of options for shopping and going out. You can easily spend an entire afternoon in and around the historic market square.

Easy and affordable when your rent through Micazu

Interesting facts about Trutnov
