bungalow, San Pantaleo, Sardinia, Italy - Leontine's Lodge in Sardinia
The separate Master Suite with raised bath, rain/massage shower and separate toilet with spray tap instead of bidet can also be rented as a 'Bed, Bath & Beyond' out of season when Leontine often stays in her lodge, with its own entrance, parking and veranda but use of facilities and services.
Look at the bright kitchen with a combination of modern and vintage and a dear art object of a friend in the foreground on the left.
Hi, welcome to my self-designed lodge in Sardinia! Enjoy my lovely home, warm regards, Leontine
Aperitif time with a cool Sardinian white vermentino wine.
For veranda with special vegetation and use of materials
View under the bougainvillea to the rock-sheltered seating area
My favorite chairs, brought back from Tuscany when a kindergarten bought new furniture and I picked this up..
Arrival at the lodge is really recommended with a sturdy car as a four-wheel drive and high wheels and a good engine is necessary for the way up.
Back terrace with art and lots of old wood
The first outdoor shower is made from an antique roof tile from the Duomo in Siena
Lots of art and architecture inspiration in and around villa
The back terrace at nightfall
Our kitchen is so cozy and well equipped that many guests cook at home after a day at the beach or a sporting or cultural excursion...
The bright kitchen has all kinds of modern equipment but has many cool materials with vintage finds such as the old white doors from Catalonia
The long table with 2 benches from WWII make the dining area suitable for 2 - 8 people.
Front porch with reflection of the view in the windows of our giant 'turtle rock' across the street.
Borrelhoek on the sheltered back terrace
Cool cement poured floor with bed of 1:60 wide in the alcove between the wardrobes with doors of antique window shutters
The Master Bedroom can also be rented separately with a discount, read description or contact me.
View into the first bathroom with rain shower
The 2nd bedroom 'Stanza' for a family or friends has space for a maximum of 4 adults or a couple with 3 children, thanks to this bunk bed...
Extensive linen package for bed, bath and kitchen is provided.
Gaze into the family room mirror to see how the beds relate to each other. This room has the bathroom accessible via the hallway with rain shower, toilet with spray tap and sink, an extra outdoor shower in the garden in front and an extra sink in the room.
Wild garden with typical flora and fauna of the island, rugged rocks, unusual architecture and often hidden art: surprising to wander around in like 'Alice in Wonderland'...;)
Autumn here is lovely too!
The dawn has gold in the mouth, my favorite place for yoga at sunrise, as well as musing at sunset and sometimes even sleeping outside under the stars.
Cozy vantage point in nature with our concrete 'love seats', the lodge is often requested by tough couples for retreat or honeymoon.
Art lovers and creatives will find their place here: to enjoy yourself but also to paint and write: welcome! This piece is called 'Aiuto amici' symbolic of all the help I received with the design to continue setting up this lodge on a land 'in the middle of nowhere'...
Overview of the living room
The smallest veranda with hammock and outdoor shower nearby is the perfect place for reading and aperitifs in the evening sun.
The large veranda offers year-round protection against sun and rain, has a large gas BBQ and a fan for warm moments, although it is always pleasant due to the high location.
The second outdoor shower towards the pool with a view of our herb garden
Here I hang a symbolic sign of a turtle on the porch: for a long and wise life and to indicate that this is the place to relax and refuel...
The perfect place to take a nap with a nice island breeze....
Fireplace/TV corner for cozy cinema or game evenings (drawers next door full of DVDs and games)
Best office in the world! Ideal location for smart workers to write that book, for example...
Work corner with wifi and wide view
Kitchen-diner for nice cooking and relaxation
Skies above the lodge are breathtaking: free of pollution, often I just sleep outside on the land under the stars.
Cute church square of the nearest cozy artistic village of San Pantaleo
Out of season there is nobody on Principe beach anymore
The Stella Maris church in Porto Cervo has a particularly beautiful simple architecture.
During our walks we find this kind of cute hidden rock houses.
Clambering parties on our own 3-hectare rocky terrain
Over the centuries, the wind has created beautiful rock formations.
Famous displaced overgrowth of juniper trees at the beach
The big 'fungo' rock in Arzachena
