Holiday homes in Sint Nicolaasga
There are numerous villages located around the Frisian Lakes in
Friesland that have managed to preserve their charm for centuries. Sint Nicolaasga is such a place, an authentic village near the Tjeukemeer lake. Sint Nicolaasga actually has two faces. On one hand, this village is rich in cultural-historical sights, with the beautiful St. Nicholas Church from 1887 as the main attraction. The Roman Catholic Church is dedicated to Holy Bishop Nicholas of Myra, to whom the current Sinterklaas feast in the Netherlands is often attributed. On the other hand, Sint Nicolaasga is a fantastic destination for a
water sports or
sailing holiday in Friesland. The Frisian Lakes are practically around the corner, so get out and about and enjoy the wind, the sun and the water in one of the most beautiful provinces in the Netherlands.
