Holiday homes in Noordwijkerhout
‘The heart of the flower-bulb region’ – that's what the residents of Noordwijkhout call their own municipality. And that’s no surprise, because Noordwijkerhout has the largest area of colourful bulb fields in the region. This produces beautiful pictures, especially in spring, which remind you of the world famous ‘shop window’ of the flower-bulb region: the Keukenhof in Lisse, which is less than fifteen minutes away. Noordwijkerhout itself lies behind the dunes and the North Sea coast, where the seaside resorts of
Noordwijk and
Katwijk are located. So, with a holiday home in Noordwijkerhout, you can have the best of both worlds: beautiful views of the authentic Dutch landscape and the ingredients for a holiday full of
sun, sea and beach.
Noordwijkerhout: colourful and diverse
A holiday home in Noordwijkerhout has everything you need for a wonderful holiday or a
weekend getaway. There is plenty to do for young and old in and around the town. Along the Oostduinsemeer, you will find good facilities for
swimming and numerous other
water sports. The locals also jokingly refer to it as
Lake Como. Golf enthusiasts can visit the beautiful 9-hole course of Landgoed &
Golfbaan Tespelduyn. But the peak of the year is in April. Then, the Flower Parade of the flower-bulb region drives through the centre of Noordwijkerhout. It is a colourful spectacle that precedes the ‘real’ flower parade. This festive parade consists of a large procession of floats and flower-decorated luxury cars, accompanied by music bands and many hundreds of thousands of visitors along the way.
