  • The 30-metre-tall Californian Lighthouse can be reached from Malmok. In 1891, the SS California was wrecked near the spot where the lighthouse now stands. The lighthouse was named after it.
  • Local specialties are shrimp in Creole sauce, small banana cakes and cheese and mince pasties.
  • The only 18-hole golf course of Aruba can be found in Malmok.
