Daytrips from Ripabottoni
Getting up and enjoying a cup of coffee on your own terrace, admiring the view and then taking a refreshing dip in your
private swimming pool – that’s what a holiday in
Italy is all about. Ripabottoni itself is an oasis of peace and quiet, but there is plenty to see and do in the area. A holiday home in Ripabottoni is therefore an excellent base for nice daytrips. There are many beautiful routes for walking and cycling. These often lead straight through nature and past picturesque villages such as Casacalenda and Oratino. A particularly beautiful walk takes you on a 15-kilometre long ‘tratturo’ - an ancient shepherd's path - to the small town of Benefro. You can also go to the beach for the day. Within 45 minutes you’ll be at the nice seaside resort of Termoli. Visiting in August? Then don’t miss 22 August, when the inhabitants of
Termoli celebrate the feast of Madonna delle Stelle.
