Holiday homes in Sant Pere Pescador
Sant Pere Pescador is a charming village on the
Costa Brava, just a few kilometres from the Bay of
Roses (also called the ‘Golf de Roses’), which is named after the largest town on the bay. Sant Pere Pescador is one of those authentic Spanish villages where time seems to have stood still. It’s a village where locals go to the baker’s every morning for some fresh bread and then stroll back home again. In the afternoon, they get together in the central square and discuss the latest gossip. And in the evening, you can enjoy a delicious meal outside with a good glass of Spanish wine. Indeed, with a holiday home in Sant Pere Pescador, it’s not difficult to get used to this way of life.
A unique nature reserve
From your holiday home, it will take you less than 30 minutes to get to the lovely, long sandy beach of Sant Pere Pescador. It’s not as busy as the famous beaches on the Costa Brava, so it’s a great place for sunbathing and
swimming. Just north of Sant Pere Pescador is the beautiful natural park "Aiguamolls de l'Empordà", a unique wetland area between the rivers Fluvià and Muga. Here, you can go for lovely
walks, and there are also paths specially designed for wheelchair users. Keep your ears and eyes open because the nature park is home to more than 300 different bird species. From a special watchtower, you can look out for the crested cuckoo, spoonbills, fork-tailed plovers and the stone curlew. From your holiday home, you’ll also have the opportunity to make some nice daytrips in the area. The owner will be able to tell you everything you need to know. When you book through Micazu, you’ll have direct contact with each other, and because you book directly with the owner, you’ll often save you a lot of money.
