Holiday homes in Extremadura

A holiday home in Extremadura is ideal if you’re looking for a stay in the Spanish countryside. Here, you’ll be far away from the Costa Brava, the Costa del Sol and the other more touristy areas of Spain. Extremadura is one of the regions that has remained the most authentic. Enjoy the accommodation set amongst nature and discover the many attractions in this exceptional region. We highly recommend a visit to the city of Cáceres, with its famous monastery of Santa María de Guadalupe. The nature is at its most beautiful in May and June, when the valley of Jerte is filled with beautiful blooming orchards replete with cherry blossoms. You’ll be able to go on lovely walks or explore the area by bicycle. In other words, a holiday home in Extremadura is the ideal choice if you are in search of nature and silence. With Micazu, you always book directly with the owner, who can tell you everything you need to know about this beautiful area.

Relax in your holiday home without a care in the world

Extremadura is an exceptional holiday destination all the year around. In the mild autumn and winter months, you’ll enjoy the peace and quiet that only nature can bring. In spring, the temperatures are pleasant, the birds return form their migration and the plant life is about to burst out wherever you look. In July and August, the temperatures can reach great heights in the Spanish sunshine, so don’t try to do too much! Just do as the locals do: relax and unwind, enjoy great food and simply enjoy life. Summer is also the season for the traditional village festival, because in Extremadura, there’s always something to celebrate.
