Adjacent to the living room, large south-facing terrace with comfortable garden furniture. Adjoining garden of approx. 820 m2 with a view of the Zeeuws-Vlaanderen polder land. The garden was completely redesigned and decorated in May 2023. A charcoal barbecue is provided
The house is located on the edge of bungalow park 'Saint Pierre'. This is a quietly located small-scale bungalow park with lots of greenery and open spaces, right at the foot of the dunes of Nieuwvliet-Bad and at the foot of the De Zwarte Polder nature reserve.

The route in blue is the walking route (footpath) from the house Heggerank 21 to the dune crossing. Beach pavilion 'Woest 17' can be found at the dune crossing. Until January 2023, this beach pavilion was called De Strandganger.

Holiday homes in Cadzand-Bad

Cadzand-Bad is a classic seaside resort in Zeeland, not far from the Belgian Coast. For centuries, young and old have come to enjoy the sun, sea and beach and the charming atmosphere of this lovely village. Cadzand actually consists of two parts. Cadzand-Dorp- a medieval ring village with the gothic Maria Church from the early 14th century at its centre - lies slightly inland. Cadzand-Bad is the current seaside resort. Bathing culture started here in 1866 with the construction of "the Bathhouse". At that time, bathers still walked around in bathing suits and ladies were taken to the sea in a bath cart! This is no longer the case today, but Cadzand-Bad is still a lovely destination for a beach holiday or a weekend getaway in the Netherlands.

Nice things to know about Cadzand-Bad

  • Cadzand-Bad used to be known as a natural health resort. Bathing in the sea was called a "cure" because it would cure all kinds of ailments.
  • Cadzand-Bad is now a designated "Healing Seaside Resort". A seaside resort only receives this award if the seawater, the climate and the soil products have been declared to have healing properties.
  • At the entrance of the village is the beautiful "Nooitgedacht" windmill from 1898. In 1974 the mill was hit by a fire, after which it was restored in 1977.
  • The Zwin was originally an inlet and channel that connected Bruges with the North Sea. Over time, the channel silted up and the current nature reserve was created.
