Holiday homes in Pego
Getting up with a cup of coffee on your own terrace, enjoying the view and then a refreshing dip in the
private swimming pool: what a great way to start the day! A holiday home in Pego guarantees a lovely relaxing stay on the
Costa Blanca. Pego is one of those authentic Spanish villages where time seems to have stood still. The old centre is a maze of cobblestone streets and narrow alleys, and the whitewashed houses with colourful window frames still really ooze the atmosphere of authentic Spain. A holiday home in Pego is an ideal base for exploring this charming village and the surrounding area. The owner will be able to tell you all about the area because when you book through Micazu, you’ll always have direct contact with each other. And you’ll only have to speak English. And because you rent directly from the owner, you’ll often save a lot of money.
Everything within reach
Pego is located slightly inland from the coast, about 100 kilometres north of
Alicante. The village has a rich history dating back to the Romans and the Moors, as a walk through the old centre will show. There are a few local supermarkets, boutiques, restaurants and lovely tapas bars, so you’ll have plenty of choice for shopping and or going out. And thanks to its central location, all the sights on the Costa Blanca are easy to get to. The sun, sea and sand are always close by as it will only take you 30 minutes to get to famous seaside resorts like
Denia and
Javea. Here, you’ll find excellent facilities for swimming and all kinds of water sports. Most beaches have also been awarded the Blue Flag, an international label for clean, safe and
child-friendly beaches.

- Pego is located in a fertile valley, where extensive orange groves define the landscape.
- Slightly further down is the Parque natural del Marjal de Pego-Oliva, a lovely nature reserve with plenty of options for walking and cycling.
