The house has a beautiful garden and swimming pool. The restaurant within walking distance is not right. The picnic benches outside and inside do not provide any seating comfort. The downstairs bathroom is more of a utility room, and upstairs there is only one bath. It was clean though and is very central for trips.

Furthermore, we always get the most fantastic reviews from Paola, which we are happy to leave below for other guests for information. Paola is the sweetest woman we know in all of France and we really don't understand the 7 for her. Also, the house is always and span clean, see the other reviews. You can see that there is a picnic table outside in the photos of the holiday home, that there is only a bath upstairs, you can see in the photos. We think it's a shame that the restaurant is closed, but to give Paola a 5 for that is very strange to us.

Everything was okay for us except for 1 point. For a large group (like us) of 10 people there is absolutely a need for a second fridge, there is a second kitchen but no second fridge, this was a disturbing factor for us.
A second point is for the future, since it is getting warmer and warmer, air conditioning is absolutely necessary (it was sometimes more than 30 degrees in the rooms, which was disturbing for the children) this is not a criticism but an advice for the future. Furthermore, it is definitely recommended.

Our stay was really excellent - the house offers plenty of space, the décor is extremely stimulating and the environment is very quiet, so there is plenty of room for relaxation for everyone. In short: we enjoyed every hour of the two weeks in this amazing house with its beautiful pool and beautiful garden.
The housekeeper is very accommodating and comes right away if anything is needed.

What a lovely house to stay for a week! We were with our family (4), grandparents and two dogs. Because the house is built in two parts, grandpa and grandma had their own bedroom floor with bathroom and so did we as a family. The garden is really well fenced so our dogs could stroll through the garden.
Very nice that the pool was already open (we were there the first week of May) and despite the fact that the water was still cold, we swam every day.
In short, a place to return to!

What a beautiful and lovely house Paola is. It immediately felt good upon entering. We enjoyed it immensely. It was also ideal for the dogs because the garden was completely fenced. Unfortunately the weather was not warm enough to use the pool. The location was also ideal for us. For us it was a kind of 'work' holiday. We had to move an old aunt. Unfortunately, we do not have a suitable photo for you to place on the website.

The holiday was fine and the house was fine.
There was more than enough wood, which we also needed the first 3 days, given the weather.
We spent a lot of time in front of the fireplace / wood box.
It's nice and spacious and yet cozy. The bedrooms are fine and the showers are nice and warm.
Even with the sun, the water was not suitable for swimming: too cold, but the pool is very inviting.

'Paola' offered a lot of space. Beautiful garden with lovely swimming pool where we spent days from early in the morning until late at night. Alternating shade and sun spots in the spacious garden made sure that everyone had a good time. The interior of the house was a bit dark and less attractive in style (for us) than 'Au Pompon'. No 'salt and pepper' here; Not necessarily, but still a nice welcome gesture.
The setting was beautiful; regularly explore the area by mountain bike. Also a nice welcome from the hostess who showed us the way and arranged the deposit on departure.
All in all, we are very satisfied with our stay in France and will certainly visit your website on your next visit.

My mom and stepdad left a few days ago after a wonderful stay at Villa Paola. And now we can enjoy this fantastic home. Great pool, beautiful house and beautiful surroundings. And certainly a big compliment to the owners. They maintain this very well and come by in consultation and then as soon as possible to disturb you as little as possible. Lots of privacy assured!
We have already gone for a nice walk with our dogs (very easy to find the signage here!), went to markets... Which restaurant would you recommend to us in Terrasson? We still have a week ahead of us but could easily stay here much longer! :-)
