Ducarinne is located in the province of Lot en Garonne, an up and coming region in south west France and probably best known for producing fantastic wines and local produce. The Lot en Garonne has not yet been discovered by mass tourism, unlike many of the other South Western regions and this creates a fantastic authentic atmosphere. What stands out are the influences of Scandinavian design in combination with traditional French features, such as the wooden beams and the beautiful stone terrace.
Inside
There are five hotel-worthy bedrooms in Ducarinne, three of which (on the ground floor) have modern en-suite bathrooms with walk-in showers. The other two bedrooms (on the first floor) share a bathroom. One bedroom on the ground floor (and bathroom en suite) is also fully equipped for wheelchair users. In addition, there is an inviting living room with an attractive, very well-equipped kitchen with a large long wooden table for dining together on the rarer cool days. There is also a football game here. Black steel accents and beautiful wooden parts can be found throughout the house, which gives the whole a relaxing and luxurious look.
Outside
Outside you will find the beautiful huge, partially covered terrace (which you step on through the sliding doors), for which original tiles have been used in the same tone as inside, so that the living room seems even more spacious. The view from the terrace, surrounded by 5 hectares of private land, is nothing short of extraordinary. There is a long outdoor dining table, perfect for al-fresco dinners with the wooded landscape as a backdrop. There is also a 10-metre long swimming pool made of natural stone (and 6 m wide!) and a pool house . In the garden you will also find comfortable sun beds and lounge chairs, a BBQ and more than enough playground for the children! Ping pong table available from season 2023. A special path has been created for wheelchair users from the parking lot for several cars.
Environment
In this beautiful area you will find several thermal stations, a golf course, riding stables, lakes, tennis courts and a boulodrome. There is a cycle route at Casteljaloux.
