The location is top notch. Directly on the sea, private beach which is beautifully maintained and a small swimming pool. Good restaurants within walking distance and even a restaurant right next to the complex, namely restaurant Nultwintig. You won't be bothered by this. Only heard the occasional ice cream maker.
We had an apartment on the ground floor. You should not be too fond of your privacy because there are many people walking by and from the pool you can see the apartment in the children talking (we often had everything open to let it blow through) The apartment is a bit outdated in terms of furniture (recognized it from 2013 when we stayed in another apartment on The Strand) and the sofa has sagging and also shows some stains) The bedrooms, its fine, although the third room is small. We did not take advantage of this. Air conditioning is central and I thought it was a thing. Our daughters slept in a room that was way too cold. This was tried to be solved with the administrators, but was not possible in the short term. (administrators were very helpful, contact was fine via the app) Installing a few extra fans could be an option. The one in the living room was a bit broken. Furthermore, I personally thought that there were too many bedding in the closets, which limited the space for my own clothes. Towels were just too short. I also found the beach towels a bit dated and very small and were not changed. I washed these myself (the costs were deducted from the electricity) Electricity costs are on the high side. We only had the air conditioning on from 20:00 in the evening until 6 in the morning (and then it didn't even work optimally!) Furthermore, there are few mirrors and in the bathroom they hang really high (our ladies of almost 1.80 m could just see into them but it is also a bit dark in the bathrooms) Showers are wonderful. Perhaps an idea for the owner to hang an extra mirrors in the bedrooms (because there is nothing here except in the dark walk-in closet). But that's a woman's thing haha. All in all a great apartment and we had a wonderful time.
