Dream away in Langweer....
Dreams come true in this modern, detached holiday home on a small-scale park on the water in Langweer. Watervilla de IJsvogel is located in a very convenient location on the outer ring of the park, with an unobstructed view from the living room, the kitchen and the terrace on the lake, the Langweerder Wielen. From the harbor you can sail onto the most famous waterways of Friesland. The holiday home is modern and attractively furnished, has just been completely renovated and is suitable for 6 people. The holiday home is surrounded by a large garden, with lawn, which offers a lot of privacy. Less than a 2-minute walk away is a sandy beach with various playground equipment for the kids, volleyball nets, ping pong tables and the fitness trail along the water. At the water sports club around the corner you can rent a motorboat or sailing sloop if you don't have one yourself. The cozy center of Langweer with some restaurants and bars is also within walking distance of the park.
Layout holiday home
On the ground floor are the hall, a first bedroom with a double bed, a bathroom with shower and sink and also a separate toilet. If you go up a few steps, you enter the bright living room on the middle floor, with the cozy sitting area, the open, complete kitchen and the dining table. Through the many large windows on the middle floor you have beautiful views, you look out from almost all places over the water and the boats that pass by. You also overlook the large garden around the house and you step from the living room onto the spacious terrace with garden furniture, where you can enjoy the view and each other sheltered. On the second floor there are two more bedrooms for 2 people each as well as a bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. Next to the Dream Villa is a garden house, in which you can store bicycles. The garden house has electricity, so you can charge the battery of your electric bicycle if you wish.
Surroundings
Langweer is an active area and not only for water sports enthusiasts. Cyclists and walkers can also start a beautiful route directly from the park through the green landscape and forests of Friesland. You can experience even more water fun in the subtropical swimming pool 'Swimfun' in Joure or in the sauna 'de Woudfennen'.
Just 5 minutes away (by car) is the challenging 18-hole golf course 'Burggolf St. Nicolaasga', located in the woods. The golf course has good practice facilities (driving range, putting green and chipping) and the possibility to take golf lessons. Afterwards, you can have a drink on the terrace or have a bite to eat.
And of course you can go shopping or visit a Frisian museum in the various villages and towns around Langweer. You can easily rent sloops in Langweer. From the park, you then sail via the Langweerder Wielen to, for example, the Heegermeer. The Fluessen, or the Slotermeer. the Sneekermeer is also easy to navigate. During a trip on the water you can enjoy beautiful nature interspersed with characteristic villages and old city centers.
