Our charming detached house offers along with the beautiful surroundings and wonderful climate many opportunities for the real holiday feeling.
We bought the house in 2009 which makes it an entirely new and modern property. We value hygiene and cleaniness and take great care our guests experience this. We have a cleaner who comes in after each rental period, ensuring a clean and tidy home also for our guests.
Alpenrose is located in a perfect location on the outskirts of the village, a few minutes walk from the town center. The house has a large garden and is surrounded by a high conifer hedge.
The sun can be enjoyed in the large garden throughout the day. Because of its location on the south side of the valley, the garden is covered by the sun from early morning until the evening sun.
However, the garden can be enjoyed by both sunbathers as well as shadeseekers. The old Linden tree provides plenty of shade at any time of day. Naturally, the garden is equipped with garden furniture including 2 lounge chairs. At the rear of the house is the garage.
The ground floor has been completely renovated a few years ago. You will find the kitchen, living room and bathroom on the ground floor.
The kitchen is fully refurbished and offers every comfort:
- ceramic hobs
- 8-person service expanded kitchen
- large fridge/freezer
- and of course a typical Austrian round seating area.
Beside the kitchen is the living room where during the evening you can relax (TV / DVD / video, games etc. available). Here you will also find our comprehensive directory with information about the area and the house.
The luxury bathroom (shower / bath / wc) is located on the ground floor.
On the first floor there are 3 bedrooms.
Each bedroom is furnished for 2 people.
Bedroom 1 has a double bed (200cm x 160cm mattress 1x) + balcony
Bedroom 2 has twin beds (2x 90 cm mattress) + balcony.
Bedroom 3 has 2 separate 1-beds (90cm wide)
Also located in the hallway ia a simple 2nd toilet.
Bed linen, bath and kitchen textiles can be rented on request.
In the basement are the boiler and washing machine both fitted in 2010. The washing machine can be freely used.
The attic is not furnished. There are clothes lines to hang up your washing. However the area can also be used by children as a playground.
From the house you can walk across to Malteinerhof hotel. You can go there for a tasty and affordable meal. It is also possible to make use of the sauna against payment.
We have been the proud owners of this lovely (2-6p) chalet in the Maltatal / National Park Hohetauern for several years. We were looking for a quiet place in a typical Austrian village and this is it. Since we are not yet able to live in our house for long periods of time, we are pleased to offer our house for rent. The living room is fully equipped with audio equipment and satellite TV (BVN). In the cupboard there are games, books, DVDs, videos etc. and a brochure about the area. Should you want to relax after a long walk, then our living room is the ideal place. Both the living room and kitchen are suitable for this purpose, so there is space for anyone to enjoy and relax.
This room is the master bedroom or the "parent room". It is situated at the front of the house, with a patio door to the balcony. From the balcony you have magnificent views of the mountains. The mattresses and blankets have all been purchased in the summer of 2009. The room has plenty of storage.
This room is also at the front of the house with access to the balcony. The room is tastefully decorated and has a double bed with 2 separate duvets. The beds, duvets and mattresses have all been purchsed in the summer of 2009.
Bedroom 3 is located at the rear of the house. It has 2 single beds (90 cm wide) and 1 cot (120cm long) with a good mattress (both Ikea). There is a stair gate available that fits the doorway. This room has plenty of storage.
The bathroom is very spacious, fully renovated and modern. The walls are completely lined with luxurious wall tiles, the bathroom clean and fresh. We attach great importance to hygiene.
The luxury kitchen has been renovated several years ago and is completely fitted with all mod-cons such as dishwasher, microwave, oven etc. As befits a true Austrian kitchen, it consists of a cozy corner Austrian bank plus 4 individual seats. There is ample space for 6 people. Because of its location in the house, the kitchen is a bright room. Wouldn't you love breakfast in our kitchen with the sun shining at you, overlooking the beautiful Austrian mountains. Whether it is spring, summer, autumn or winter. And you could be enjoying it too!
The municipal pool is about 7 minutes walking distance. It is a simple, clean and beautiful accommodation, suitable for all ages. It consists of a deep end and 2 shallow pools (children's pools). It has a large lawn. You can purchase a time ticket to access the site next to it which is a camping site. In summer (high season) it is a plesantly busy area. The campsite has a large terrace with a restaurant.
Wij hebben genoten van dit heerlijke huis ! Wij waren met onze vijf kinderen op vakantie, dit huis was ruim genoeg voor ons .Alles aanwezig wat je nodig hebt voor een heerlijke vakantie! Klein half uurtje rijden met de auto naar mooi skigebied.
Geweldig mooi huis en fantastische omgeving. De eigenaressen zijn zeer behulpzaam, goed te bereiken en vriendelijk. Het huis is compleet en goed onderhouden. De tuin is geweldig! Ook voor honden is het een hele fijne plek. De mensen uit het dorp (en daar buiten) zijn heel vriendelijk.
Prachtig vakantiehuis, van alle gemakken voorzien. Wij hebben het huis met 3 personen in oktober als uitvalbasis gebruikt voor bergwandeltochten .
Enorm veel informatie en kaarten in het huis aanwezig. (Berg)wandelmogelijkheden in de omgeving zijn zeer goed.
Het is ook een heerlijk huis om te relaxen, alle luxe die je thuis hebt is hier ook te vinden. Verder valt de vriendelijkheid van de verhuurder op en de goede informatievoorziening.
Kortom: een huis en omgeving om nog eens terug te komen.
