villa, Viñuela, Andalusia, Spain - Cortijo Algarrobo
View from the terrace on the cortijo. The large terrace surrounding the pool is completely flat, tiled with tiles. There are 5 (+2) sun loungers and a 4-6P dining table.
The villa offers plenty of living space. In the conservatory it is pleasant to dine with a larger group. For the winter months there is a pellet stove for extra comfort and atmosphere.
The villa has three spacious bedrooms with a total of 6 sleeping places. There is a new baby cot available as well. Of course there are summer and winter duvets.
Large swimming pool of 8x4 meters facing south. Around it there is a terrace on all sides. View of the sea. In winter, you can see the Atlas Mountains in the distance! The location offers a lot of freedom and privacy.

View from the south-facing terrace over the valley and the Mediterranean sea. From early in the morning until evening, always in the sun, but also plenty of seats with shade.

In September 2025, we continued to modernize the house and make it more sustainable. In the autumn of '25 we will continue with solar boilers, among other things.

The large veranda (of over 53m2) offers plenty of shade and (also) a lot of atmosphere in the evening. Here too there is an opportunity to eat and work outside.

The veranda has a large dining table, BBQ and wood stove (for the cool evenings in the late or early season).
In the conservatory/dining room there is a large dining table for at least 8 people. From the conservatory there is a beautiful view over the terrace, pool and the surrounding area.
In the conservatory/dining room there is a pellet stove for the cooler winter evenings. With the push of a button, this heater turns on.
In the living room there is a small dining table that can also serve as a workplace.
The living room has a comfortable sofa with matching ottoman and armchair, a SmartTV with Chromecast, a wood stove, fan and central (adjustable) air conditioning (hot/cold).

The kitchen is fully equipped and has its own air conditioning. The washing machine, dishwasher and combi/microwave oven are in the open utility room.
All necessary kitchen appliances are available. Cooking on induction with extractor hood above. Spices, oil/vinegar, detergent, dishwasher cubes - everything is there. Please complete it yourself!
The covered lounge terrace with daybed, next to the kitchen, facing west (sunset and ideal for a sundowner!).
On the old water reservoir there is a washing place with a natural stone terrace. With a lovely seating area for 2P, walled in for shelter, privacy and security. Great for a late drink and dinner!
Bedroom 1 is located at the rear of the house and has a double bed, a large built-in closet, a bathroom en suite and air conditioning.

Bathroom 2 is located off the hall and is the communal bathroom. This is equipped with a walk-in shower, washbasin in furniture, a urinal and a toilet (with bidet function).

Sun sculpture with Bougainvillea. The garden has many beautiful plants and trees. Everything is irrigated automatically (except for the potted plants around the terraces - please water them yourself!).
The garden has many fruit trees, eg. Pear, cherry, fig, mango, avocado and of course our own citrus trees in all kinds etc.

There is also a place of their own for the little residents :-).
The 'lost' village of El Acebuchal is a beautiful destination for a hiking trip from Cortijo Algarrobo. It has a few nice restaurants.

Our apartment has a swimming pool where a lifeguard is always present (this is mandatory in Spain). There is no toddler/children's pool. There are plenty of parasols on the lawn to provide shade. The garden is very well maintained. The swimming pool is open from early June to mid-September
This is the 'ramp' from which goes to the big apartment. A beautiful view of mountains and sea. Through this way you drive the underground parking garage where you have your own parking space.
You can enjoy a view of the sea, Malaga and other resorts. Also from the pool
The kitchen has a fridge freezer combination, microwave, dishwasher, hood and oven. Furthermore, there is an extensive inventory.
The kitchen has a stone worktop. From the kitchen you go to the laundry room with washing machine.
The living room is separate from the kitchen. Lots of light enters here from the terrace.
From the living room you step through the sliding doors onto the large terrace, with a view of the sea.
From the master bedroom with 2persoonsbed (1.80x2.00m) you step through the doors to the terrace. Through this room you come into the separate bathroom

This bedroom can sleep 3 people. The lower bed has a size of 140x2.00m. In this bedroom is a closet with drawers.

From the terrace you have stunning views over the Mediterranean and Malaga, Benalmadena and Torremolinos.

This is the 'boulevard' that you see from the kitchen window at the front of the apartment. Here the children can play safely.
This is the beach of Rincon de la Victoria. This can be reached by car. From the apartment in about 10 minutes Parking in the area is free.
Rincon has a sandy beach where it is gorgeous. On the promenade are a lot of restaurants, bars and shops. You can also pin here. From Rincon you can make a nice walk through the caves to another beach.
Near the apartment, about 5 minutes by car, is a very big shopping mall. Here you will find ATMs, (clothing) shops (including Zara, Stradivarius, drugstores and a big supermarket. There is also a McDonalds and gas station. You can park for free here.
Malaga is a beautiful county and city. You drive from the apartment in about 20 min to Malaga center. Here is plenty to see, play and eat and drink.

The Lofties has a very spacious terrace with swimming pool, outdoor shower and covered patio. Our guests also have a very large garden with olive trees and flowers.
The terrace has three different entrance doors to the house, one of which leads into the lounge.
The lounge has a wood burning stove for cooler winter evenings, satellite TV, a DVD player and a sound system.
There is WiFi throughout the house, so play video games, contact your family or work (hopefully not too much) from The Lofties.
From the salon, you walk into our fully equipped kitchen. All equipment and accessories are available to cook a nice meal. (But don't forget that there are some wonderful restaurants in Comares... after all, you're on holiday...)
Electric cooker, dishwasher, pots and pans, coffee machine, toaster, etc...everything you need is available.
There is also an oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, and washing machine. From the kitchen you walk into the dining room. Very handy.

The dining room also has a door that opens onto the terrace. This makes this room bright and spacious.
Look after! You might be tempted to take a dip between two dishes.

The hallway leads to the bedrooms and bathrooms and has an interesting nook with books, games and even binoculars for little (and big) adventurers.

The separate bathroom is located between 2 bedrooms and has a bath and toilet. All rooms have natural light.

The master bedroom is really very spacious.
The master bedroom has air conditioning, an en-suite bathroom and a door to the terrace and pool. Warning...you can't jump off the bed into the pool! (Admit that you thought about that for a moment.)
There is a spacious shower in the en-suite bathroom, a toilet and wash basin.

Who wants to play a game of football? Or maybe you prefer to throw a ball on the jeux de boule field? As you can see, we have also thought of the sports enthusiasts. And for them there is also the largest tirolina in Spain in Comares with 3 via´s ferratas and a sailing course.
And for the little ones there is a shady play corner where they can have fun. NO adults allowed unless to bring an ice cream.

This entrance gate leads you to one of the most beautiful Andalusian villages, Comares. Everyone who visits the village takes a piece of Comares home, in their heart. Discover the Moorish history and meet gentle residents, enjoy the delicious southern cuisine in one of the typical bars.
Enjoy a day at the beach in Torre del Mar, just 35 km from Casa The Lofties.
Torre del Mar. Eat crispy fresh fish in one of the chiringuitos and then… a nap on the beach.
Malaga, cultural and gastronomic jewel on the Costa del Sol. 1 hour drive will take you to this great city. Enjoy good food, visit museums or shop till you drop. Something for everyone in Malaga.
All tourist highlights of Andalusia can be visited from The Lofties by means of a day trip. Like here, Cordoba with its beautiful Mezquita.
Granada with the unique Alhambra and the Sierra Nevada are definitely worth a visit.
Walk through the gorges of El Choro along the world-famous Caminito del Rey hiking trail. An unforgettable adventure that starts just 60 miles from The Lofties.
