The pristine beach of Calamosche, which is located in the Vendicari nature reserve, is definitely worth a nice walk. Excellent for snorkeling 31 km (40 minutes).
Siracusa... our beloved city (UNESCO) to just walk around the Greek and Roman ruins, on the peninsula of Ortiga from the theatrical bustle in the market street, for a nice lunch.

The Greek teater of Taormina. To the north of Catania lies Taormina (about 2 hours) with one of the most beautiful ancient Greek temples in Sicily. The city with its countless international film, theaters and music festivals attracts countless visitors from all over the world every year.
Noto: the capital of the Baroque. At only 30 minutes from Stella Errans is the town of Noto (Unesco World Heritage), the hotspot for fans of the Baroque. This art, together with the ice cream from the Caffé Siciliana attracts visitors from all countries every year.
The beautiful baroque town of Scicli. Scicli is built entirely of white stones from the quarries of the valleys around the city. The town with its stately buildings, churches and squares is highly recommended (27 km from the villa, approx. 40 minutes)
Etna, our lady. The Etna, one of the largest and most active volcanoes in Europe, stands 150 km from the villa (about 2 hours drive). Breathtaking views, adventurous trips along old craters and solidified lava paths through an ever-changing and unforgettable landscape.
The lakes of Cavagrande. An untouched natural reserve where a river has dug out a steep valley and formed small lakes that merge into one another through waterfalls. A steep descent and a tiring retreat, but for the athletes among you a nice challenge.
The stairs in Caltagirone. Caltagirone is famous for its ceramics and pottery. The city is about 100 km from the villa. The picturesque streets, the colorful decoration of the cityscape, it is all framed by the works of the most beautiful Sicilian ceramics artists.

You park your car directly under the house and that you have during your stay is no longer necessary. There is room for 3 cars
