There are many well-marked hiking routes in the Jalonvallei and the surrounding area. (please contact us for personal tips)
Cyclists can go anywhere from Alcalali (contact us for tips and rental possibilities)
Within 20 km. distance you can choose from many different beaches (here Cala Fustera)
... but a bit further also Arenal, an easily accessible sandy beach with all kinds of facilities
Cala Granadella, beautiful rocky beach on the coast between Javea and Calpe
Almond harvest = good reason for fiesta (even in February)

Here you look all the time from our balcony - the view back is definitely worth the climb
Even without climbing it is nice to cycle in the Jalonvallei
This is what makes climbing fun: the reward! Both hiking and cycling tip no. 1: the Bernia massif, followed by an authentic paella at the Refugio!

In the area of Benidorm (40 km) there are many amusement parks, with and without water
For the colder periods: the villa also has wifi, a few films, TV with HDMI connection and Chromecast
In addition, of course also 'just' the old-fashioned offline entertainment, for the cozy hours inside.
Prefer no pets - we already have a dog ;-)
Day trip: Valencia is only an hour away by car. The architectural indulgence of Calatrava is certainly worthwhile.
