Alcalalí is a small village, with about 1300 inhabitants. It is located in the Jalon Valley, in the middle of the almond, orange and olive trees. A short distance away is the village of Moraira, with many restaurants, a modern marina and a beautiful coastline.
You will find several beaches in the immediate vicinity such as the ampollo beach of Moraira and also a bit closer to El Portet.

In the spring (February) the almond blossoms of the many almond trees burst open in the valley.
Although many people think that the name Costa Blanca arose because of the white beaches, the region is actually named after the white almond blossoms that bloom around February.
Routes are usually well signposted.........
