Enjoy reading in the afternoon sun, spring 2021
Early in the morning you step outside through the French doors to enjoy the sun on our terrace.
And then shot from the living room an hour later: having coffee together and enjoying silence.

Parked the car in your own driveway and you walk to our house along the shed / bicycle storage room
It is wonderful to walk on the large quiet heath. This is at Gortel. You can walk there in ten minutes from our house!

Fancy a game of jeu de boules? Plenty of space! And you will find the boules in our bicycle shed.
In early spring we go by car or bicycle to the sheepfold at Heerde. Huge heather and the sheep come to the cage in the afternoon with their lambs. Beautiful face!
On one of our walks from the cottage you walk a lot along this beautiful stream.
They do not like it, but we look in the nest young thrushes in the birdhouse to the oak 5 meters from our house. (See the picture with the squirrel)

A ten minute walk along the forest and you are on this heath at Gortel. It is October, the sheep have been stamped by the ram. So this spring again lots of lambs!
We just saw this rare hawfinch near our house. He enjoyed the rowan berries!

It is wonderful to sit outside under the pergola when it is warm or when it rains!
The nice bright living room has a nice lounge sofa and patio doors to the terrace!
Lovely all that green, luckily you don't have to water these plants!
How nice is this spacious wardrobe with now really enough space for hanging and laying!
The smaller bedroom has a cozy bench where you can put your shoes on!

If you have to work for a while, you can do that at the desk in the living room
nice walk through the woods? You can stamp the mud off your shoes outside and then put your shoes on the rack!

The small bedroom has a bunk bed with a pull-out bed on wheels underneath that you can pull out. very handy: during the day you slide the bed under again so that you have more space in the room!
The kitchen is fully equipped. It has a microwave and oven, a filter coffee machine and a Nespresso. A kettle, a toaster and a four burner stove!
Want to work? This is possible with a delicious Nespresso and free WiFi with fast internet!
Enjoy eating outside at the spacious dining table with six chairs
eat inside at the cozy round table. There is a wooden high chair in the shed if you need it
The Ziggo TV has 30 networks, all Dutch, but also many German, Belgian, English and French networks.
There are many board games, booklets, magazines, comics, toys and adult books available.
Fortunately, you don't have to water it!
What a lovely covered terrace with that lounge sofa and that hanging chair to relax!

These lounge chairs are located on the side of the house and are in the shade for reading on a hot day!

It is very nice to visit Paleis 't Loo in Apeldoorn which is near the house
Nice to visit the water park Aqua Mundo in Zeewolde
There are several lakes and beaches nearby, including the Heerderstrand
There are several castles and estates nearby to visit, look in the info folder or digital link that you will receive a few days before arrival
There will be many terraces on the Market in Epe from the end of spring!
One of the Big Five in the Veluwe is the fox. There are still quite a few foxes to spot in the Veluwe!
Wild boars are also one of the Big Five in the Veluwe. The Veluwe has the highest number of wild boars in the Netherlands!
Red deer are also one of the Big Five in the Veluwe, along with roe deer. You can also see this on the Veluwe
The pine marten also lives on the Veluwe. You have to look up to see him they build their nests a little higher in the trees
You can also spot sweet little deer on the Veluwe during your cycling or walking trips!
From the end of Aug to the beginning of Oct you can still see fly agarics everywhere in the woods
Visit the Apenheul in Apeldoorn!
The Tongerse Heide, a 10-minute bike ride from the cottage, is in bloom from the end of July to September!
Visit one of the nine Hanseatic cities with an enormous amount of history and culture. For example, Deventer and Zutphen are really worth a visit!
The Dolfinarium in Harderwijk is really worth a visit!
There are many beautiful cycling and walking routes to explore the woods and the Veluwe!
