On a plot of no less than 1300 m2 of private land , between beautiful trees and shrubs, lies our spacious and cozy holiday home "de Winterkoning". Wonderfully free and private with so much space and pure nature around you.
Indoors there is 70 m2 of living space, all ground floor. The cottage has a nostalgic look from the outside, but has been completely modernized on the inside. There is also a shed with a separate covered bicycle shed next to it.
The place is ideal for peace seekers and nature lovers, in a concise forest park, "De Vliegden" (only 40 houses) on a quiet, dead-end road for car traffic between "Kroondomein Het Loo" and nature reserve "Pollense Veen". You are here on the vast and quiet north Veluwe, The lively villages of Epe and Vaassen are 4 km away. Our park borders directly on the Kroondomeinen, the vast Dutch nature reserve.
At the cottage itself you can enjoy the peace and quiet, the many bird species and the squirrels. And directly from the cottage you can also walk or cycle endlessly through forest, heath and peatland. It is very likely that you will encounter a fox, deer or wild boar. In our house is a folder with extensive amount of walking and cycling routes and further tourist information.
You will also find a large amount of CDs, DVDs and books (for the enthusiast also cookbooks!), .
There is internet connection via fiber optics. Wifi code can be found in our cottage.
The house has three bedrooms, one of which has bunk beds. Since 2020 there is a new kitchen with oven, induction hob, dishwasher. Spacious bathroom with double sink and walk-in shower, separate toilet.
We find the cottage comfortable for up to four people.
Due to allergies, we do not want dogs or cats in our house.
Our house is near Apeldoorn (palace Het Loo) and the large Wellness center De Veluwse Bron in Emst. with right next to it the beautiful recreation area Kievitsveld with swimming lake and beaches.
The house is a base for all kinds of trips to interesting villages and towns.
By car you can reach places such as Epe, Vaassen, Apeldoorn, Deventer, Kampen, Zwolle, Hattem, Elburg, Harderwijk in 10 to 25 minutes. The river IJssel and the Veluwe beach are also not far away.
