Our spacious and cozy holiday home “de Winterkoning” is located on a plot of no less than 1300 m2 of private land between beautiful trees and shrubs. Wonderfully free and private with so much space and pure nature around you.
Indoors there is 70 m2 of living space, all on the ground floor. The house has a nostalgic appearance from the outside, but has been completely modernized on the inside. There is also a shed with a separate covered bicycle shed.
The place is ideal for those seeking peace and quiet and nature lovers, in a concise forest park, "De Vliegden" (only 40 houses) on a quiet, dead-end road between “Kroondomein Het Loo” and the nature reserve “Pollense Veen”. Here you are in the vast and quiet northern Veluwe. The lively villages of Epe and Vaassen are 4 km away. Our park borders directly on the Kroondomeinen , the extensive Dutch nature reserve.
At the house itself you can enjoy the peace and quiet, the many bird species and the squirrels. And directly from the house you can also walk or cycle endlessly through forests, heaths and peatlands. It is very likely that you will encounter a fox, deer or wild boar. In our house there is a folder with an extensive amount of walking and cycling routes and further tourist information.
You will also find a large number of CDs, DVDs and books (also cookbooks for enthusiasts!), .
There is an internet connection via fiber optic . You can find the WiFi code in our house.
The house has three bedrooms , one of which has a bunk bed. Since 2020 there is a new kitchen with oven, induction hob, dishwasher. Spacious bathroom with double sink and walk-in shower , separate toilet .
We find the cottage comfortable for up to four people.
Due to allergies, we do not want dogs or cats in our house.
Our house is near Apeldoorn (Het Loo Palace) and the large Wellness center De Veluwse Bron in Emst. with the beautiful Kievitsveld recreational area with swimming lake and beaches right next to it.
The house is a base for all kinds of trips to interesting villages and towns.
By car you can reach places such as Epe, Vaassen, Apeldoorn, Deventer, Kampen, Zwolle, Hattem, Elburg, Harderwijk in 10 to 25 minutes. The IJssel river and the Veluwe beach are also not far away.
