The detached house is located on a sandy path in the "de Borkeld" area. From the house you walk and cycle along the many forest paths and sandy roads to the National Park De Sallandse Heuvelrug with its beautiful forests and heathland. Directly from the house you will find cycle paths with cycle routes, mountain bike routes and horse routes. The well-known children's farm Dondertman is located near the house, where guests receive free access. Here, children can cuddle the animals, slide, go skating, take a pony ride and make a round trip with the covered wagon. Horse riding is possible at the stables, they provide rides on the Sallandse Heuvelrug. The Holterberg Nature Diorama with the largest collection of European animal species is within cycling distance. In summer the Twenhaarsveld outdoor swimming pool is ideal. There is a large slide and a 25 meter bath with diving board. Bicycles can be rented at bicycle shop Jan Stam in Holten, the bicycles are then delivered to the house.
