La Pineda is located in the Parc Naturel Régional, an area with great natural beauty where you can make beautiful walks and bike rides.
Saint-Chinian is a famous regional wine center with (wine) shops, restaurants and terraces. There is a lively market twice a week held in the square under the plane trees on Thursdays and Sundays. Saturday flea markets are often held in the same place.
At the river Orb there are several beaches where you can swim well, but also around St Chinian you can cool off in the river Vernazobre; The beaches of the Mediterranean Sea are about 40 minutes drive from La Pineda.
It is also a wonderful house in winter, with the cozy Godin wood stove. And for the summer there is a wonderful outdoor shower to cool off.
La Pineda has a heat exchanger for heating and cooling and solar panels.
