"What we love here is that feeling of space and freedom, surrounded by nature and far away from the hustle and bustle. The area is popular for hiking or cycling through vineyards and pine forests. Wine lovers can enjoy tastings at the nearby wineries. Charming villages such as Minerve, Bize-Minervois or Olargues are well worth a visit, as are the Cesse and Orb rivers, perfect for a refreshing dip or a picnic by the water. Cultural sites such as the Abbey of Fontfroide, the Canal du Midi and the cities of Narbonne and Béziers are also within easy reach, as well as typical markets with local products."
