Although the official dolphin show is at Seaquarium, they often come in the morning with a boat and let the dolphins swim freely in the ocean. Often they do a few tricks at Jan-Thiel beach.

On Curaçao you see the flamingos most in the salt pans. One of the most famous places to watch flamingos is towards the west of the island at “Willembrordus” close to the beautiful beaches “Porto Mari” and “Cas Abou”

Playa Porto Mari, one of my favorite beaches with beautiful blue water. They serve tasty nasi with sateh at the restaurant. The beach and restaurant closes at 6pm

At Blue Bay resort they have an 18 hole golf course, where hole 6 is spectacular. There one has to hit a bay to the green about 120 meters away.

A day trip to Klein Curaçao is a day of enjoyment on the water, where it is almost guaranteed that you will see turtles while snorkeling

Banda Ariba (the ‘upper area’) is the eastern part of Curaçao. This hilly region is very popular with tourists in search of sun, sea and the beach. Fun facts about Banda Ariba

The most important ingredient in Curaçao liqueur is the indigenous Larah orange variety, a descendant of the Spanish Valencia orange.
Many Dutch people own a second home in Banda Ariba.
One of the oldest plantations in Curaçao is called ‘Zuikertuintje’ (little sugar garden), a reference to the sugar cane that once grew here.
Just outside Santa Catharina, you will find the Ostrich Park, one of the largest ostrich breeding farms outside of South Africa.
