Villa Grandi - walled domain

Three villas within one walled domain, in the middle of Otrobanda — the UNESCO heart of Willemstad. Eight bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, around a tropical courtyard garden with saltwater pool. Together where you want, on your own when you are looking for it.  

The City Villa and two garden villas

The restored monumental City Villa forms the heart of the domain: high ceilings, shutters, original details and four bedrooms. In the City Villa there is a large wooden table with twelve chairs. Villa Awa and Villa Blenchi are located on the courtyard garden — bright and contemporary, each with two bedrooms, its own kitchen and a shaded terrace. Each villa has its own entrance. In this way, each group follows its own rhythm: get up early, have a quiet breakfast, or join us later.  

The domain

Historic walls enclose the entire site; next to the automatic gate there is a pedestrian entrance at the front of the City Villa. Inside are the saltwater swimming pool, terraces and shaded areas among tropical greenery, and a covered seating area with TV. Dining tables are scattered around the site. The carport offers sheltered parking space for four cars. From the parking lot, seven steps lead to the grounds, the entrance to the City Villa has two; Within that, everything is on one level. And the domain is yours alone: no other guests.

Otrobanda and its beaches

From the gate you can walk straight into the neighborhood: murals, small cafes, local eateries. A few minutes' walk will take you to the Pontjesbrug, to Kura Hulanda with its cobblestones and courtyards, or to the Rif Fort by the sea. Beaches such as Parasasa, Blue Bay and Kokomo can be reached within fifteen minutes by car. And after a day full of impressions, the gate closes behind you — peace, greenery and a warm Curaçao evening.

Good to know

• Electricity is charged separately: €0.50 per kWh, charged via the €950 deposit — a temporary authorization on your credit card, nothing will be transferred and nothing will be charged. Average consumption: approximately 10 kWh per bedroom per night, with the air conditioning at 25°C for eight hours. You pay for what you use.
  
• All sockets are 220V — Dutch plugs fit directly.
  
• Our local team will welcome you on arrival and show you around the domain. · Arrival from 16:00, departure before 11:00.
  
• Cleaning and breakfast can be booked; A shopping package is available on request upon arrival.
  
• Events — a small wedding, retreat or dinner — are welcome if discussed in advance. We like to think along with you in the organization.
