On the holiday farm are three fully equipped apartments. These are located around a beautiful courtyard and each has a separate entrance and private terrace with lots of privacy. There is a swimming pool of 4 by 8 meters with its own terrace that guests can use in the months of May to September.
The COTTAGE is the former residence of the farm. This cottage can accommodate up to five people. The cottage is detached and is located directly on the pool. And also has a private garden.
There is an extensive kitchen, a cozy living room, a toilet, a bathroom and the garden. There are three bedrooms furnished with comfortable beds: one bedroom with a large double bed, adjoining a room with a single bed; one bedroom with a single bed; one bedroom with a single bed of
135 cm wide ("French bed"). All bedrooms have ceiling fans, wardrobe, coat rack and bedside tables or tables. The kitchen has a large gas stove with electric oven and grill, microwave, coffee maker, kettle,
fridge and cosy dining area. The living room is open to the kitchen and has comfortable chairs and a sofa, TV, DVD and wood burning stove.
There is the possibility to use a washing machine and drying lines.
Towels, bed linen, kitchen towels and drinking water are included. Beds made on arrival.
The village of Alcuéscar, with restaurants and cafés, is three kilometres away. Here you can go for daily shopping in the well-stocked supermarkets. There is a bakery, an artisan butcher and shops. On Fridays is the weekly market, with a variety of fresh vegetables, fruit and local products such as cheese and cold cuts
The finca is located directly along the Camino de Santiago and Via de la Plata.
There are some restaurants 850 meters away from the finca, as well as a gas station where you can also buy fresh bread and local products.
Dogs and horses are welcome, but please mention in advance. Horses can graze in the pasture.
The nature cottage is an ideal base to visit Cáceres, Mérida, Trujillo and Guadalupe (historic towns). For nature, there are nature parks (e.g. the Montfragüe National Park) and several reservoirs (Proserpina, Orellana). There are many walking and cycling routes from the finca, which go through valleys, hills, forests and marshes and lakes.
Despite the fact that the finca is only a five-minute drive from the Cáceres-Mérida motorway (A66), it cannot be heard or seen at all.
*It is forbidden by law to allow dogs and other (domestic) animals in the pool area used by guests of a tourist accommodation.
*Pets are not allowed to run loose on the grounds of the casa rural and at the stables. Pets must be kept on a leash or at the cottage. This is necessary to prevent nuisance to other guests and/or our animals.
*Dogs are allowed to run loose on the farm's fields, provided they do not cause damage to the farm animals that graze there, the vegetable garden and the wild animals that may be there (e.g. nesting birds, turtles, rabbits and hares).
*A maximum of 2 pets per accommodation are allowed.
*For pets there is a surcharge of €15.00 per stay.
*Pets must be registered in advance.
*Pets must be microchipped and provided with the necessary vaccinations and valid documentation, these must be presented upon arrival.
*The finca is in the countryside, sometimes agricultural noises can be heard.
