Nerja is a jovial, but versatile town on the Mediterranean in the Spanish province Andalusia. This easternmost town of the Costa del Sol is a really nice, attractive holiday destination for young and old. You can enjoy excellent from the wonderful beaches, the many restaurants, nightlife, local attractions, nature and recreation, cultural festivals and holidays and trips in the surrounding environment (Granada, Seville, Cordoba, Ronda, Malaga). Even if you come here for years (or -like manner based) than there are important things each time new rides, attractions, parks, nature reserves, etc. to discover.
Nerja's charm is include in the beautiful location on a plateau above the sea which have formed a large number of beaches, each with its own character. This coupled with making the beautiful viewpoint Balcon de Europa and the typically Spanish narrow streets in the historic center of Nerja really picturesque. Because the town developed later came the coast west of Málaga, there is relatively little high-rise. On one side of Nerja is surrounded by agricultural land and on the other by a mountainous nature area (towards Cerro Gordo) with beautiful view points and beaches. The coastline is 16 kilometers and 13 kilometers of beach.

Nerja is famous for its limestone caves, the Cuevas de Nerja Nerja-Maro, which attract many tourists from home and abroad (see Maro immediately historic Aguila aqueduct). Behind Nerja is a picturesque old Moorish town, Frigiliana, a typical village of whitewashed houses and steep winding streets.
