The streets of Cómpeta
The hotel's swimming pool is also accessible in summer. Tickets are available at the hotel. Casa Almachar is about a 5 minute walk from the hotel
Many beautiful walks are possible in the mountainous surroundings of Cómpeta
Lighthouse on the coast, Competa is 11 km inland. With about 30 minutes drive you are on the beach. From the village 2 good A roads (A-7206 and A-7207) lead to the coast. Tip follow the N-340 to La Herradura and discover many chiringuitos, small beaches, beautiful viewpoints.
The region has the best climate in Europe with an average of 320 sunny days a year. The climate has mild (warm) winters and not too hot summers. The summer temperature is around 31 degrees during the day. Lovely with a breeze through the shady streets!
Cómpeta is popular because of the many narrow streets. These streets give the village a lot of atmosphere and tranquility.
The 41,000 hectare Sierras de Tejeda, Almijara y Alhama Natural Park is ideal for walks, mountain biking, horse riding and is located next to the village. (the park starts 15 minutes walk from the house)
