holiday home, Rincón de la Victoria, Andalusia, Spain - CASA DEL CASTILLO

Welcome to Casa Del Castillo. we would like to share this hidden gem with you.

Relax in the evening with a view through the glass walls, over the mountains to the Mediterranean Sea.

Eat outside whenever you can, and that's about 300 days a year here.

We have tried to restore our house in such a way that modern comfort and original antique details touch each other and form a cosy, comfortable home.

Light and space, that is what we want to offer our guests.

There are so many 'enjoy' days in this part of Spain.

We have tried to preserve the antique walls of the house as much as possible.

Around the pool with a snack and a drink = vacation!

Our 'little castle', close to where the big castle once stood.

In the sun or rather in the shade? Take your pick, there is something for everyone.

Outdoor shower, water pump and ... beautiful things.

There is a bench in the pool to enjoy the surroundings even more

Most of these items belonged to our parents and grandparents.

Who can suspect that a small paradise is hidden behind this facade?

We wanted it to be light and spacious inside, so we created 1 large space downstairs without walls, but still with many cozy sitting areas.

We have even restored the original furniture and combined it with modern furniture. We didn't want to lose the soul of the house we grew up in.

The comfortable salon also has a view of the outdoor area.

Downstairs we have created a separate toilet room for the comfort of our guests

The kitchen is well equipped and original with a view of the terrace and the pool.

Induction hob, dishwasher, washing machine, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer combination and all the necessities for cooking yourself.

Here you can clearly see the result of our choice not to use intermediate walls. We hope you like it.

The master bedroom with en-suite bathroom.

The en-suite bathroom opens onto the balcony.

Chill for a while, or read a book... or just take a nap.

A chill-out lounge on the first floor for those who need it, and with a view.

The second bedroom also opens onto the balcony.

'And then sleep comes and brings you sweet dreams, of a beautiful day and what may come'

The second bathroom with shower, sink and toilet.

Bedroom 3 is slightly smaller but also has access to the balcony.

Watching the stars in the evening with a drink, if that's not a holiday.

Casa del Castillo, the place to relax and enjoy.

Comares, elected 'Pueblo magico d'España'

The multi award-winning beach of Torre del Mar is only 30 minutes by car.

Malaga, culture and gastronomy by the sea.

Ardales Caminito del Rey. Spectacular hiking trail through the gorges of El Chorro.

The bougainvillea is my favorite flower/shrub. We try to let it grow on our terrace.
