CASA DEL CASTILLO

CASA DEL CASTILLO is a unique holiday home with spectacular views. The owners restored this original antique family house for more than a year and combined, with great taste, beautiful and original details with modern decoration. They also created a special outdoor area with a beautiful swimming pool and a very spacious, partly covered, terrace with summer kitchen, lounge corner and spacious dining area. The terrace has glass walls so that, even from the pool, you have an exclusive view over the beautiful mountains to the Mediterranean Sea.

You can discover this hidden gem in Comares, a typical whitewashed Andalusian village, voted 'Pueblo Magico d'España'.

When you enter the house, the first thing you notice is the space and coziness that the ground floor radiates because they have opted to eliminate the partition walls. The living room, lounge and kitchen are intertwined but at the same time have intimate, cozy sitting areas. There is a spacious living room / lounge with fireplace. There is also a well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, induction hob, oven, microwave and fridge freezer. The patio doors lead to the impressive outdoor area. There is also a separate toilet room downstairs for guest comfort. In every room you will find an original detail from the old house, even most of the furniture is restored originals.

The staircase leads to the first floor where you first have the master bedroom with en-suite bathroom, a chill-out lounge and 2 other bedrooms, all with access to a balcony. There is also a separate bathroom.

There is air conditioning in the 3 bedrooms and hispeed internet is available throughout the house.

The outside area is really great. There is a very large terrace with lounge set to enjoy breakfast in the morning sun, for example. There is a summer kitchen with barbecue and sink and many antique details. Our guests have a very spacious indoor dining area and a bar at their disposal. Large pieces of the original walls have been preserved. The eye-catcher, however, is a beautiful swimming pool with a glass wall and of course there are also an outdoor shower and sun loungers.

Casa Del Castillo is located in Comares at an altitude of 700 meters, a typical white Andalusian white village with narrow streets. Follow in the ceramic footsteps and discover the Moorish past…but don't forget to stop by a typical bar every now and then. Comares is surrounded by a beautiful landscape, full of impressive native trees and beautiful paths that invite you to walk and enjoy nature. Many guests come here for cycling, hiking, mountain biking or... just to relax. 'La dolce far niente' can also be practiced here! A FREE PADEL COURT has recently become available in Comares.

The village supermarket, bakery, pharmacy and various bars and restaurants are all within walking distance of Casa Del Castillo. There is free parking at a 2-minute walk from the house and a short walk to the other side takes you amidst the beautiful nature.

Only 30 minutes by car will take you to the famous beach of Torre del Mar. Eat crispy fresh fish in one of the many chiringuitos on the beach or enjoy a nice ice cream while you walk along the pleasant promenade. Velez Malaga, which is right next door, has a large commercial center and many supermarkets.

From Casa Del Castillo you can easily visit all the tourist highlights of Andalusia during a day trip.

Malaga, capital of culture and gastronomy by the sea, immersed in history with its streets full of beautiful facades, its museums and countless restaurants and bars. This city steals the heart of every visitor. Expensive oaths are forged here about losing heart and returning…and often they do.
