Unique, cozy holiday home in the mountains of Andalusia, ideal for 2 families or large groups. Of course also suitable for 2 people. Our property has 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, 2 kitchens with a spacious private swimming pool with fantastic, breathtaking views of the valley.
The balcony from where you can enjoy the beautiful view of the valley below. The place in the morning to drink your coffee and watch the sun rise. And in the evening for sundowners and watch the sun set.s
From the balcony you have a fantastic view of the valley. The dawn and sunset in particular are simply breathtaking to behold.
Welcome to Casa del Algarrobo, located in Los Capitos, province of Andalusia. Near Torre del Mar (coastal town) and Canillas de Aceituno. Via the path down, our house is located at the end of the path. First you will find the entrance to the larger house via the entrance as shown.
From the bedroom on the 1st floor you have access to your own balcony.

From the entrance you enter the cozy living room. If you walk through the hallway, you will find 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. You go up the stairs to the large bedroom. Furthermore, the house has a large kitchen with all modern amenities.

Via the stairs in the living room you go to the bedroom on the 1st floor. This bedroom is unique in the sense that it has air conditioning, private bathroom with shower, toilet and sink and a private balcony overlooking the valley.
There is another bedroom directly adjacent to the terrace. The terrace can be closed via the fence.

Through the living room you enter the double bedroom. This bedroom has air conditioning. You enter the bathroom through the bedroom.

There is a modest dining area in the kitchen in the lower house.
In the room, the old stable, next to the kitchen you will find a larger, cozy dining area. Particularly useful during the colder months.

You reach the private swimming pool via a staircase on the terrace, which runs along the lower house.
The terrace is the central point of both houses. Directly accessible from both houses. Via the front door of the lower house, and a spiral staircase from the balcony of the higher house. Here you can get together as a group and have a BBQ.

The private pool
Loungers by the pool offer the desired comfort either in the sun or in the shade of the Algarrobo tree.
Our house is located on a footpath where several other houses are located. Our house is located at the very bottom
The two residential units are connected by the large communal terrace. Everyone comes together here for snacks and drinks. There is a barbecue on the terrace. You can reach the private swimming pool via the stairs behind the smaller house.

View of the spacious private swimming pool from the terrace. You walk to the swimming pool via a staircase from the terrace. It is therefore accessible to both residential units.
The nearest beach (the Costa del Sol) is Playa Torre del Mar, a 15-minute drive from our home. A coastal town that is pleasantly busy in the summer, with countless shops, cozy bars, cafes and restaurants.

Our property is located in the mountains of the Sierra Tejeda nature reserve. There are several car and walking routes that pass through characteristic villages. One of those villages is Canillas de Aceituno, the nearest village (approx. 10 minutes by car).

The kitchen is very fully equipped. Fridge-freezer, dishwasher, oven, induction hob and microwave. Sufficient plates, glassware, cutlery, knives, bowls, (frying) pans, etc.
We have a Bosch Tassimo coffee machine and an Italian Moka coffee maker.

Sufficient glass and earthenware available.
Also plenty of kitchen utensils, plates, bowls, pans etc.
We like to decorate our home not only with new stuff. Every now and then we find a gem.

In the hall is a cupboard in which the washing machine, ironing equipment, cleaning equipment and beach equipment can be found.
There are two Dutch, one English and one Spanish guide of Malaga available in the apartment. If you wish, you can use these during your stay with us.
A city trip also requires moments of relaxation. That is possible on our terrace. With an adjustable large sunshade for the hot days.
You can also enjoy our terrace in the evening. With both mood lighting and a slightly brighter lamp for a game or reading.
Nothing is as good as a drink on the terrace after a day of shopping or at the beach.
The bougainvillea is my favorite flower/shrub. We try to let it grow on our terrace.
Malaga is famous for its 'espetos', fresh sardines, grilled over an open fire. This painting was made by a local artist.
For our smallest guests we have a cot and high chair. The bed fits in the colored bathroom.
For our youngest guests we have a high chair and cot available (for a fee).
We have a free underground parking space for our guests. This parking space is suitable for small or compact cars.
Our apartment is located 'interior' as they call it in Spain. This means that the windows are not on the side of the street. So nice and quiet!
In addition to the apartment, we also have a beach house east of Malaga for rent.
