Giant Track Boswachterij Ruinen offers a very challenging course. Nearby and mountain bikes can be rented in Hoogeveen. The MTB routes Zuidwolde and Havelte are also challenging. Or conquer the VAMberg, a tough climb.
Cycling or walking across the Dwingelderveld sometimes leads to surprising encounters. Rent a bicycle at bicycle transferium Ruinen.

This lounge set is located on the sunny side of the house. There are still 2 x 3 person benches to add to give everyone a spot. The sun is on the terrace around 11 a.m. until about 3 p.m. All kinds of things can be stored on the chest table to have close at hand.
Next to the playhouse with climbing equipment is a climbing mountain, climbing tires, a hut and a climbing tree to give the children some outdoor fun.
In the pond in front of the house many birds come to bathe or drink water. The grass snake (small and harmless) regularly comes to eat a frog and then to take a break in the sun on the rocks.
This seating area has 10 patio chairs. There are 2 canopies above that can serve as sun protection, but can also serve as a wind screen. Just how the weather is that day. This way you don't have to break up immediately with a little rain. The morning sun is here early, a wonderful breakfast spot!
On this bench you can largely overlook the garden from the shade.
The lounge sofa has movable neckrests and part of it has a folding backrest. This allows more sessions to be created.
