The beach (Callantsoog) is within cycling distance of 9 km. The beach bars here are open all year round.
Dogs are welcome on the beaches. Between 01-10 and 01-05 the dogs are allowed to run free. In the meantime, the dogs are only allowed off the leash between 19:00 in the evening and 9:00 in the morning.
The bulb fields are in bloom from about mid-April to mid-May. There is plenty to do.
