Located on the Schoorlse Duinen National Park, with the widest and highest dunes in the Netherlands, you can relax here until you drop. The beach can only be reached by bicycle, which makes it extra quiet. Camperduin and Hargen aan Zee can be reached within 10 minutes by car.

We are a Dutch family with four children who enjoy staying in Schoorl with great pleasure. During the holiday periods we can often be found in France, so we rent out our house for a number of weeks in the year. The house is situated in a beautiful spot on a cul-de-sac, which turns into a bicycle route to the village. Klimduin and the shopping center are less than a five-minute walk from us.

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

Up to eight weeks before arrival 100% cancellation fee
Up to six weeks 75% return
After that, you will not be reimbursed for anything.

A 500 euro deposit is also set.

In the summer months minimum stay 7 days

Property must be delivered clean, sheets etc must be deposited with the washing machine on departure please.
Property is not smoking please do not charge your electric car via our electricity grid. If you do so, the full deposit will be retained.
Barbecue and fireplace must be left clean. This includes the grill and the glass walls of fireplace.
8 people maximum, including children. If the owner does not exceed the agreement, the booking will be cancelled and any costs incurred will not be refunded if it falls after the period of cancellation. Please note that access to the house can also be refused or the holiday can be interrupted if the maximum number of people is exceeded. This rule also applies to entering the home with pets.

The Klimduin Duidorp Schoorl is located directly on the dune area and is best known for the highest dunes and Het Klimduin where the children - and many a tough father or mother - enjoy running from top to bottom. Schoorl is located in a varied environment. This way you can enjoy the sea, beach, dunes, forest and polder landscape, next to the pleasant village center with shops, terraces and restaurants. Relaxing in nature Schoorl offers long routes for walkers and cyclists to enjoy the beautiful nature for hours. Each season has its own atmosphere and the experience of this changes time and time again. Relaxing is what you do in Schoorl. And if you want to look for a little more crowds, Bergen or Alkmaar are worth a visit. The highest dune Although people always talk about the fact that Schoorl has the highest dune, it appears that the Schoorl forest ranger of Staatsbosbeheer recently measured with the most modern and ingenious measuring equipment that a dune top, just behind the climbing dune of Groet, reaches higher than the dune in Schoorl. At 55.50 meters, Groet has the scoop on the highest dune in the Netherlands.
