The friendly Manege 'Les Ecuries de la Croix des Bois' in Montillot. Riding in the manege or just a few hours through the forest, under supervision. Walking Ponies for hire for children of min. 5 years. Even multi-day touring trips possible.
One of the beautiful picturesque streets in the town of Clamecy. Weekly Saturday Food market in ' La Halle' in Clamecy (most biological produce). Local producers bring their fresh fruit, vegetables, meat, cheeses, honey, bread, Burgundy wines and much more to enjoy.

Swimming, paddling, and catching torches at the historic 'Deux Ponts' in Pierre-Perthuis (15 min drive). During warm summers the place to cool off under the deciduous trees. Also break-place during canoe trip on the romantic meandering river 'La Cure'.

The beautiful Lac des Settons in the Morvan Natural Park (40 min drive). There are several beaches, ideal for small children. Pedaloes, canoes, catamarans and fun boats, and sightseeing boat across the lake. Other lakes nearby: Etang du Goulot in Lormes with terrace / restaurant, sandy beach, playground and canoe rentals (20 min drive), the Lac de Chaumeçon (25 min drive), Lac de Pannecière (35 min drive), Etang de Baye.
