Paddling at the historic 'Deux Ponts' in Pierre-Perthuis (15 min. drive). The place to cool off under the deciduous trees. Break-off point for canoe trip on the meandering river La Cure

Enjoy a good glass of wine and French cheeses around a sturdy fire.
Bright (children's) bedroom. Sleep like a prince or princess in the antique oak queen bed (2 kids), the bunk bed (2 kids) or the single bed.

The grey play/TV room, with separate WC. Located between the dining/living room and the summer barn. Ideal play area for children. In the display cabinet you will find board games and other toys.

Children will be busy for days in their 'own house' (former 'lavoir') in the courtyard. Equipped with light.

And when you've had enough cows, head to the dinosaurs in Cardoland! (20 min. from the Gîte)
Equestrian center 'Les Ecuries de la Croix des Bois' in Montillot. Riding in the arena or through the forest under supervision. Walking ponies for rent for children from 5 years old. Multi-day tour rides possible.
Fantastic Food Market, every Saturday morning in Clamecy. Local producers bring fresh fruit, vegetables, meat, cheeses, Burgundy wines, honey, bread etc.
