Tonnerre de Brest, is a detached house in a small street of a small hamlet, bordering forest and meadows/arable land, with complete privacy. It is a 3 star accommodation. In the low season (1 October to 31 March) you get a 15% discount for stays of 4 weeks or more. There is no surcharge for heating, while it is nice and warm inside. Both the air conditioning and the Godin wood stove will take care of that.
It has been renovated and furnished in a modern way, while retaining original elements and accessories. On the ground floor you enter the veranda which faces south from the living room and kitchen. You can barbecue and
eat at the large wooden table and enjoy the beautiful view in all weathers. On hot summer days, the electrically operated awnings provide shade and cooling.
The luxurious open kitchen is fully equipped. The living room is comfortable and has French and Dutch TV and Netflix. On the 1st floor is a large bedroom with a double bed of 1.80 x 2.10m but this can also be made up as two beds of 90 x 2.10. Adjacent is a luxurious bathroom with toilet.
The house is heated and cooled by a heat pump / air conditioning and a Godin wood stove and can be rented in all seasons. In the large garden with several seating areas under the fruit trees there is silence.
