Ideal environment for those looking for peace and quiet and the active holidaymaker. The Haute Vienne offers numerous hiking, cycling and mountain bike trails. There are also plenty of fishing spots in the area. Rolling hills, flowering meadows, babbling brooks, the many birds; enjoy all the beauty nature has to offer.

But also cozy villages such as the medieval Eymoutiers (8 km away) with several restaurants and terraces. Also visit the weekly market with delicious local products. Also Saint-Léonard-de-Noblat is definitely worth a visit!

There are also 2 large lakes in the area (Lac de Sainte-Hélène & Lac de Vassivière) that facilitate various water sports.
