Le Petit Paradis

Our spacious holiday home is located in the picturesque village of Bujaleuf, which is suitable for 2 to 6 adults (8 people if two children are included in the bunk bed).

The house has 3 bedrooms. On the first floor is the living room, kitchen, bath/shower/double sink, toilet and 2 bedrooms. The bedrooms on the first floor consist of a room with a bedstead (1.80 x 2.00 m) and a bedroom with two bedsteads (0.9 x 2.00 m).

From the cozy living room with large dining table and wood stove, you can see the open kitchen.
The spacious kitchen of the house has the appearance of an old French house, but with the amenities of today; dishwasher, large fridge with 3 freezer drawers, 4 burner gas hob and microwave/electric oven, kettle and coffee maker (Dolce Gusto). All these rooms are heated with electric heaters and there is also a wood stove in the living room.

On the ground floor is a 4-person bedroom with a cot (1.80 x 2.00 m) and a bunk bed (2 x 0.9 x 2.00 m). Then a private bathroom with sink, shower and toilet.

In the garage there is a washing machine and a dryer, as well as a second refrigerator.
There are also mountain bikes, a table tennis table and outdoor activity gear. The house is located on the road to the beach of the reservoir in the valley. On foot or by bike to the beach (with play equipment) or beach pavilion for swimming or eating (800 m). bike or 200 m on foot across the campsite).
The location of the house is special, with a private driveway to park two cars and a large garden with grass around. A garden to spend the whole day, in the sun or shade. The terrace has morning sun to start at the long terrace table with fresh croissants from the bakery in the village (at 700 m). The garden is very quiet, located 4 m above the adjacent terrain, and on the other side is meadow to the forest. The garden offers complete privacy. Sunbathe in the garden or read a book sheltered in the 4 hammocks. Wonderful stay!
On the balcony you look over the houses on the lake and you have a beautiful view of the rolling landscape.

It is an ideal area for walking with beautiful forests 500 m from the house. or to the village center. There is a small market in front of the church every Friday morning. Hours of cycling through the tanning hills where you encounter a single car or tractor. Water sports are possible at the reservoir by renting out a canoe, pedal boat and sub. Furthermore, in the evenings at the lake, good food at the beach pavilion with live music on weekends (high season). For great entertainment, you can kayak in a flowing river within ½ hour's drive, or climb a tree at the Lac de Vasvière at breathtaking heights or rent a canoe or sub at the lake. The town of Limoges (known for its porcelain) is about a 40 minute drive away.

The house has no telephone connection, but there is wifi. There is also excellent reception for mobile telephones or 4G internet. There is also a charging facility for electric cars. A 3.6kW charging cable.

Bujaleuf has its own doctor, pharmacy, supermarket and bakery. In addition, a hotel/restaurant and a local bar.
