Holiday home Gite Anita is a beautiful authentic farmhouse in a hilly area in the Villemonteix municipality of Eymoutiers in the Limousin.
Amid the green hills of the Limousin, Gite Anita is an ideal home for holidaymakers who like to combine comfort with peace and space. Holiday home Gite Anita is located in the middle of the nature reserve "Parc Naturel Regional de Millevaches en Limousin". The Dutch owners have transformed the former farmhouse in authentic style into an attractive modern holiday home, equipped with all amenities.
The spacious living room with high ceiling radiates coziness and warmth. The fully equipped kitchen has a spacious worktop, gas stove, oven, microwave and dishwasher. On the first floor there is a bedroom and modern bathroom with spacious shower. The house has a lovely terrace. There are plenty of places for plenty of privacy. There is also a large lawn. The French neighbors Jeanne and Andre are very cordial and grow their own vegetables. Small livestock such as ducks, rabbits and chickens are also kept. They regularly surprise the guests of Gite Anita with vegetables from their own vegetable garden.
Gite Anita is rurally located in the Limousin and part of the picturesque hamlet of Villemonteix (municipality of Eymoutiers) with nine farms, a number of which are still active. The area is ideal for those seeking peace and quiet and invites you to take walks and cycle tours on a mountain bike. Good chance of encountering a deer, wild boar or fox along the way. The holiday home has a mountain bike that can be used free of charge.
Those who want to swim will find a lake with a sandy beach a 10-minute drive away. Lac de Vassiviere - one of the largest lakes in France - is half an hour away. Water sports are possible here and there is also an adventure park for climbing high (and low for the little ones) on ropes and clambering between the trees. Supermarkets and other shops are 10 minutes away in Eymoutiers and Chateauneuf de la Foret.
During the weekends, the villages in the area that are so typical of the Limousin often have vide greniers (flea markets), marches de producteurs (markets with local products) and cozy fairs. Here you can enjoy a glass of wine and a barbecue with live music. tables between locals and other guests. There are also numerous restaurants where you can enjoy good food for €14.25.
