Fun facts about the Drôme region

  • Drôme is home to one of the most fascinating buildings in the world: the ‘Ideal Palace of Postman Cheval’ in Hauterives. This postman built his very own palace, stone by stone, between 1879 and 1912. It can be viewed all the year around.
