Of course there is also plenty to see and do for people who want a more active holiday.
Bonaire is known as Divers Paradise because of the clear sea and the diverse underwater world.
If you can't dive, there are several companies that offer courses, but you can also spot many corals and fish with a snorkel mask.

The food is actually very good everywhere, with freshly caught fish on the menu, of course.

In terms of sights, Klein Bonaire, Rincon, mangrove kayaking, Lac Bay and the city center are highly recommended.

You can also practice sports such as windsurfing, kitesurfing, swimming, horseback riding, golf, fishing and hiking.

In short, plenty to do.
But you don't have to, you set your own pace!

In fact, everyone on Bonaire does everything by car because there is no public transport, there are several rental companies that offer cars.
The roads are not all paved, visitors like to rent a pickup.

We are Erik and Kelly, we fell in love with the island in 2018 and the tranquility it exudes.
You live here in the now and life is much less rushed than in the Netherlands.
People have much more time for each other, so it's much easier to have a chat or spontaneously end up in fun.

Our house is located on a large piece of private land, we live upstairs and on the ground floor there are 2 apartments for rent.
We are happy to help our guests on their way to have a good time.

Explanation of prices

If the tenant wishes to cancel the booking for whatever reason, the tenant must always confirm this to the landlord by e-mail (even if this has already been passed on to the landlord by telephone, for example). The landlord will charge the following amounts: depending on the date of written cancellation by the renter:

cancellation more than 3 months before the start of the rental period: free of charge
cancellation between the 90th and the 60th day before the start of the rental period: 25% of the rental price
cancellation between the 59th and 30th day before the start of the rental period: 50% of the rental price
cancellation less than 30 days before the start of the rental period: 100% of the rental price

If the tenant only announces on the commencement date or during the rental period that he will not use the rented property (anymore), he will still owe the full rental price.
