We rent our spacious apartment with 2 bedrooms in the Santa Barbara/Republic district. Santa Barbara/Republic is a quiet neighborhood on Bonaire.
Kas Abou has a lovely pool (3.5 x 7 meters) and a large porch. In the evening the pool is beautifully illuminated.

The name KAS ABOU already indicates in Papiamentu that it
apartment is located downstairs. In our garden.
But the large porch offers a lot of privacy.

Excellent WiFi is available.
And for your holiday laundry you have a washing machine at your disposal.
There is a separate room to place suitcases.

The apartment is well furnished.
The kitchen contains a ceramic hob and a large refrigerator. There is a Senseo machine, coffee maker and oven.

You have hot water in both the kitchen and the bathroom.

The bedrooms contain box springs
1st bedroom 180x200
2nd bedroom 2 x 90X200.
There is air conditioning in both bedrooms.

We have beach towels and beach chairs for you. And of course you can bring a cool box for a wonderful day at the beach.

We are Corrie and Erwin Lemmers. We have been living on Dushi Bonaire with great pleasure since March 2020.
We have a lovely house in the Santa Barbara/Republic district. With a nice spacious apartment with two bedrooms under our house. Hence the name “Kas Abou”. The distance to the center of Kralendijk is approximately 8 minutes.

Explanation of prices

€ 107.00 per night, € 750.00 per week
Deposit: € 150.00 per stay. The deposit will be refunded no later than 2 weeks after departure after any deduction of damage.

A stay does not have to be in 'whole' weeks. For example, 5, 9, 12 or 18 days is also possible. We also have no fixed arrival and departure days, you are welcome on all days! You can check out before departure to the airport. If you leave late, the apartment is still at your disposal all day.
The rental price is exclusive of € 100.00 for final cleaning. If you want to wash in the meantime, a washing machine is at your disposal.).
There is no interim cleaning, but you will receive: 1 x weekly clean linen. 2 x weekly clean towels.

Bonaire is known for its beautiful Coral and is ideally suited for wonderful diving and snorkeling. We also regularly see dolphins passing by.
Famous places for diving and snorkeling are the salt mines and at 1000 steps, there is also a chance of seeing the turtles

The swimming pool of no less than 50 m2, where you can take a refreshing dip right after arrival.
The porch is the place in and around the house where we ourselves stay the most. Lovely outside for breakfast, lunch and dinner. But also for a refreshing drink in between in the hammock or in the lounge bed, you reach the roof terrace via the spiral staircase. Also here are two sunbeds.

The Living .. If you need it, you can relax watching TV, listening to music or reading a book. There is a floor socket under the coffee table so that you can easily charge your laptop or telephone while you are working on it.

A fully fitted open kitchen with granite countertops and breakfast bar. The bar is also a nice place for occasional snacks and drinks. And also while cooking, from the kitchen you are always in contact with the rest of your friends and family. In the kitchen there are 220V outlets and 110V
The breakfast bar has six wooden bar stools, again a great place for a snack or a drink. In the kitchen you don't miss anything on comfort! The American fridge has a large cool and separate freezer compartment, also provides ice cubes and cold water all day!
In addition to the American fridge, the kitchen has a dishwasher, combi oven, 5-burner gas comfort, but of course also a blender, coffee maker, kettle, etc., and more than enough crockery and cooking utensils.
Because of the fully opening doors and also the opened mahogany shutters, the entire house is actually connected to the outside and you constantly feel a wonderful trade wind around you.
The Master Bedroom .. Never been to the Caribbean? Even at night it is between 25 and 30 degrees Celsius. Sleep well with open shutters in the warm wind ... The shutters are equipped with mosquito screens and the four-poster bed also has a mosquito net. No wind? air conditioning to shutters closed!
Bed linen, bath and kitchen linen are included in the rent. On your arrival, the beds are made for you and the towels are ready.

Ensuite bathroom in the master bedroom. Both have their own place! The sockets are 220 V, inverters to 110 V are also present. A hair dryer is also available and you do not need to pack it!
The ensuite bathroom is equipped with a large open shower room, equipped with a thermostatic mixer, hand shower and rain shower.
The ensuite bathroom in the master bedroom also has its own toilet. In the house there is also a separate toilet room for the other guests and / or visitors.
Just like the master bedroom, the other bedrooms are all equipped with mahogany shutters with mosquito screens and mosquito nets above the beds. When booking, please state whether you want to use the beds as a single bed or as a double bed. We ensure the correct setup before your arrival.
If desired, we can easily adapt the arrangement of the single beds into a double bed. Please let us know when booking and we will arrange it correctly upon your arrival.
In all bedrooms there is enough space for your clothes.
The third bedroom. Just like all other bedrooms with air conditioning and a ceiling fan, in case there is insufficient wind. The mosquito net is up. Due to the location of the house and the continuous blowing, you generally have little trouble with mosquitoes in Caribbean Dream
The ensuite bathroom shared by both smaller bedrooms. Equipped with two washbasins and hair dryer. A large open shower room with thermostatic mixer, hand shower and rain shower. The bathroom doors can both be locked, so that privacy is always guaranteed.

The porch .. The central place of the house, you can have an extensive breakfast, lunch and dinner here. But also take a drink or play games whatever you want. Under the table there is a floor socket so that you can charge your laptop or telephone while you work on it.
Lounge bed on the porch, relax and play a game or afternoon nap, in the warm wind. Less wind, no problem also on the veranda are ceiling fans. The spiral staircase gives access to the roof terrace, there are also two sunbeds ...
No lack of pillows either ..
Bonaire is close to the equator, the beautiful sunset takes place around 6.30 pm all year round. But unlike often in Western countries, it does not cool down, it remains around 25-30 degrees Celsius. Then enjoy it again, here on the Porch, at the table or relaxing in the hammock
Side view tropical garden. According to Bonairean tradition, Caribbean Dream is built in the wind with mahogany wooden shutters all around, when you open it you can feel a lovely trade wind in the house....
With its total surface area of 755 m2, the villa has a spacious and beautifully landscaped tropical garden and several terraces. Here you can see a side view of the garden.
A part of the front garden, with the medicinal Aloe Vera plant in the background. If you accidentally get hurt during your vacation, cut a stalk of Aloe Vera and rub the juice on your wound. You will be surprised at the quick recovery!
Among the Flamboyant! Lovely place in the shade, here too is a garden set and also two hammocks. You sit (or lie) in the warm wind from the sun, listening to the birds in the tree. There is a coconut for the sugar thieves, fill it with sugar and they will appear soon!

The 20 m2 large roof terrace with a magnificent 360 degree panoramic view of the 'kunuku' in the hills and views of the coastline, with its cruise ships, on the horizon. On the roof terrace you can enjoy the beautiful Bonairean sunrise and sunset from a lounger.
View from the roof terrace on the Seru Largu monument, on a hill with a height of 123 meters; this hill is called Seru Largu. Seru Largu is the fourth highest mountain of Bonaire from here you have a view over the whole of Bonaire and small Bonaire and even Venezuela
Many of our guests like to go diving. You can of course rinse your equipment at one of the many dive locations, but also just at home at Caribbean Dream, one of the options to hang your suit to dry after rinsing are these coat racks.
Have you just come out of the swimming pool, or do you just want to freshen up in the warm sun, Caribbean Dream also has a rain shower outside!

The tropical garden of Caribbean Dream is connected to the adjacent pool area of the villa. The pool area has a floor area of no less than 800 m2. The pool area also has a beautifully landscaped tropical garden full of palms.
