Casa Nostra is a very comfortable holiday home that can accommodate six people (+ a baby / toddler). The chalet is located on the outskirts of the village of Kötschach in the very south of Austria, near the border with Italy.

The chalet has a spacious, luxuriously furnished and cozy living room with an open kitchen, two bedrooms, a loft with a bunk bed and a spacious bathroom with a bath and shower. The layout looks like this:

  • Living room with television, wood burning stove and stereo

  • Kitchen with a stove, coffee maker, oven, microwave, dishwasher and fridge

First floor:
  • Bedroom with one double bed

Second floor:
  • Loft with a bunk bed
From the living room you can access the terrace through two doors and you have a beautiful view of the mountains in the south. Behind the house is a spacious carport and a storage room.

It is not allowed to smoke in this house.

Additional information

The area surrounding Kötschach-Mauthen is a beautiful hiking area with many kilometers of routes through the mountains.
Beautiful walking area
Carinthia is a real winter wonderland in the snow. You can ski great here. Kotschach is especially suitable for families and beginners. The free ski bus takes the more experienced skier to Nassfeld in twenty minutes.

Our house is a two-under-one-roof house. With large carport, lots of privacy and a large backyard. At 100 meters walk from the ski lift

The large garden ends in a mountain stream. There it is nice to play for the children and cool off.

If you go up with the lift, you can see the Dobratsch on the other side of the valley from the Three Country Point. This is the breathtaking view

Several lakes are within a fifteen minute drive from the house. This lake is the Faaker See. In the summer this has a pleasant temperature.

Tarvisio is a nice mountain village in Italy, a 15-minute drive away
Worthersee is also worth a visit. In summer it is more hot to swim
Skiing in nearby Nassfeld. More than 100 km of slopes.
From Seltschach a walking path leads to Arnoldstein. On the way you will encounter this beautiful monastery.
This beautiful lake Lago di Fusini is just over the border in Italy. A nice walking tour that leads to a second lake
Dreilandereckhutte. Open in both summer and winter. You can eat or drink here
