In the summer season INCLUDING ENTRANCE TO THE AQUARENA SWIMMING POOL for 4 pers.
The villa has a sunny garden, 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms in the Austrian mountains. Due to its location on the south side of the Alps, the region has snowy, cold but sunny winters and warm, Italian summers.
In unspoilt nature with breathtaking mountain landscapes, you can enjoy the peace and quiet. The immediate vicinity offers numerous sports and cultural activities for young and old.
The Villa is located in Kötschach-Mauthen in the province of Carinthia, 14 kilometers from the Italian border. From Arnhem it is a 970 km drive. The village is traditionally a spa town and is known for its beautiful surroundings and healing air.
Family home
Both the surroundings and the villa are ideal for a holiday with family – or friends. The design of the house takes into account facilities for families with children but also for seniors. For example, there is a changing table and pram and there is an extra bedroom with bathroom on the ground floor. In total, the house has 10 beds spread over 4 bedrooms. Within walking distance is the village center with restaurants, supermarkets and shops. From the house you have a view of the Italian mountain landscape.
Many sporting activities in summer & winter
Villa Montanara is located directly on a wonderful swimming paradise (indoor and outdoor pool, wellness) with a large sunbathing area. From Kötschach-Mauthen you can follow various beautiful hiking and Nordic walking routes. You can go canoeing and rafting on the Gail and there are many mountain bike and cycling routes. In the vicinity there are lakes, such as the Presseggersee with wonderful beach pools where you can swim, sunbathe and enjoy the fantastic view over the lake. You can play golf at the Gailtail Golf course, which opened in 2009.
The ski lift and ski school of the family ski area are right next door. For the real ski enthusiasts, one of the most beautiful and modern ski areas in the Alps is a 20-minute drive away: the Nassfeld ski arena. The Nassfeld ski area can also be reached by ski bus. In the immediate vicinity there are numerous cross-country ski trails, winter hiking trails and snowshoe hikes in all levels of difficulty. Ice skating is possible on the Weissensee and the Presseggersee.
