Our holiday home is easy to reach. Via Kufstein and Felbertauertunnel or via the Salzburg motorway, in the direction of Villach
Klagenfurt (± 1 hour), Treviso-Venice (± 2 hours)
Venice ± 2.5 hours. Udine ± 1.5 hours Villach ± 1 hour. Lienz ± 0.5 hours. Grado (beach!) at ± 1.5 hours.
Kötschach is located on the south side of the Alps and has many hours of sunshine. As they say: the weather comes from Italy.
Kötschach is located at the end of the Gailtal and the beginning of the Lesachtal. Really a beautiful environment. Kötschach also presents itself as an "umwelfreundliche" municipality.
Through fit and fun in the village all kinds of supervised activities for children of all ages.
Via outdoor center in village: canyoning, rafting, mountaineering, KayaK etc.

Climbing and shooting center KLE-SCH in St Daniel (5 km - 10 minutes by car)

The R3 cycle route starts in the village. (asphalted cycle path along the Gail of 80 km) see detailed descriptions.
From holiday home all kinds of beautiful trips. Most of them with a lot of climbing. Also to Italy.

Just a few kilometers from our holiday home there are several possibilities for horse riding.
