We, Bob & Jeroen, are the 2 owners of both Buba Villas; you can call us friends for life. We met in Spain in 1992 and became good friends from then on. Why do we have 2 houses together in Aruba? Bob worked in 2 different periods for a total of about 10 years (until July 2022) as a senior lecturer at the University of Aruba and Jeroen came to visit his buddy every possible free moment because he too had lost his heart to Aruba.

Explanation of prices

Cancellation policy

If the tenant wishes to cancel the booking for any reason, the tenant must always confirm this to the landlord by e-mail (even if this has already been communicated to the landlord by telephone, for example). The landlord will charge the following amounts, depending on the date of written cancellation by the tenant:
  • cancellation more than 3 months before the start of the rental period: free of charge
  • cancellation between the 90th and the 60th day before the start of the rental period: 25% of the rental price
  • cancellation between the 59th and the 30th day before the start of the rental period: 50% of the rental price
  • cancellation less than 30 days before the start of the rental period: 100% of the rental price
If the tenant only announces on the start date or during the rental period that he or she will no longer use the rented property, he will still owe the full rental price.
