In Torrox Costa (6 km from NERJA, province of Malaga in Andalucia) stands "VILLA ANDREA", a detached villa in a beautiful residential area. The villa is very child-friendly, with a safe garden and a safe swimming pool. The beach is close by, 800 meters (walking) distance. The sea is clearly visible from the garden and the roof terrace. Unobstructed view over the valley of the rio Torrox (a mostly dry river) due to the higher location above some terraces (with mainly agricultural land).

In the garden is a private swimming pool; The water can be heated if you wish. Lockable gates to the pool and stairs to the roof terrace. Multiple terraces and a large roof terrace. Several seating areas, there is always a place in the sun or in the shade. The garden with mainly grass around the villa is walled, so safe for your children and it gives you the desired privacy.

Málaga airport at 55 km (an hour's drive on the highway).

A few shops and four restaurants 200 meters away, including a small supermarket, a good pizzeria, a Spanish restaurant and a cocktail bar. Opposite are several jeux de boules courts.

Large swimming pool (with lifeguard) and 2 tennis courts for local residents 100 meters from the villa. You can swim in the (possibly heated) private pool, in the neighborhood pool (also open to you, four months in summer) and in the sea. The sea is within walking distance, via the shortest road it is 800 meters (2 minutes by car).
Nerja is 8 km away. The long, pleasant boulevard of Torrox Costa is 1.5 km away. Here you will find many different restaurants, including Spanish, Italian, Japanese, Thai, German and also Dutch (including vegetarian food).
The house is thoroughly cleaned after each guest; The air conditioners are professionally cleaned every spring.

You are very welcome in our bungalow, called Villa Andrea. We often spend our holidays here in southern Spain. Our (grand)children also come here regularly. When we are not there we rent out the villa. It is precisely here that we have a house because of its location close to the sea, Nerja and Malaga, its quiet location and the beautiful views. Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

We also rent for 8 or 20 days, or for a few months. You can determine the day of arrival and departure yourself, arrival on Sunday is only possible after consultation.

Due to the legislation in Andalusia, we must have personal details of all guests and from 16 years and older also the ID or passport details.

Cancellation policy. If the tenant cancels the agreement in the period from the date of deposit to 10 weeks before the start date of the rental period, he will remain 25% of the rental price 50% for cancellations up to 6 weeks, 70% for cancellations up to 4 weeks and 90% from 2 weeks to the start date of the rental period. If the tenant only announces on the start date or during the rental period that he will not (or no longer) use the rented property, he will continue to owe the full rent.

Additional information

After your request or reservation, we will contact you directly. If the reservation is made we expect a deposit of 25%. The remaining 75% a month for your stay in Villa Andrea. Upon arrival you will find made-up beds and a WELCOME PACKAGE.
There is a detailed information folder with tips. Of course, a description of the house (eg how does the television and the washing machine work?). Suggestions for exploration in the area, various types of beaches. Map of cities (Málaga and Sevilla bv), ideas for excursions, good affordable restaurants, flamenco evenings etc. etc.

The villa is fully equipped. Both inside and outside you will find comfortable furniture.

In the large living room with air conditioning is a sitting area (9 seats) and a dining area (6 person dining table). Wireless ADSL jack, so bring your laptop / smartphone!
The TV with satellite receiver can receive all Dutch channels. DVD player, CD player. In the seating area there is a sofa bed. There are 2 sleeping places. There is a fireplace. Bookcase with many (also modern) books.

Kitchen: large fridge freezer, dishwasher, gas stove, microwave, oven, coffee maker, kettle. Kitchen with a vacuum cleaner and ironing board.

2 Bedrooms (1x2 and 2x1) with air conditioning and fine beds and excellent mattresses; Generous fitted wardrobes. Ceiling fans in the 2 bedrooms.At your request there is a baby box and baby bath, cot and high chair.

Bathroom with shower, sink, toilet, bidet. Here is also the washing machine. Large toilet area with washbasin (2nd bathroom).

Large terrace and roof terrace, both 24m2. The garden is walled, safe for small children.

Heated private pool with jetstream: lovely against the flow of swimming. Terrace around the pool. Also poolside furniture. 6 sun loungers and 3 umbrellas. Shadow under the palm trees! 2 x BBQ. Beach stuff, including air beds, inflatable bath, tires, beach chairs.

Torrox-Costa is 55 km east of Málaga Airport. Nerja is 6 km away. It is an hour's drive from the airport to "Villa Andrea". This bungalow is close to the sea, just 800 meters from the beach. The unique of VILLA ANDREA is the location: at the end of a dead end street with FREE VIEW over the river valley: privacy and rest !!
By road or several farm roads you can easily walk to the beach if you want to go. The motorway (from Málaga to Almeria) runs 2 km north, and you can use it conveniently. "Villa Andrea" is an ideal base for making all kinds of trips. For example, to the many "white villages" and the Alhambra in Granada. Also, Seville, Málaga (city), Ronda, Gibraltar and Córdoba can be reached in a few hours. Even Morocco is to visit for a day trip or a two or three day visit. The ports of Algeciras (next to Gibraltar) and Tarifa (Spain's southernmost point) can be reached within two hours.

There is plenty of bed and bath linen available, you do not have to bring anything. You will not only get made beds, but also a welcome pack. During your stay there is no cleaning, there is a washing machine, ironing board, vacuum cleaner etc. The final cleaning fee includes laundry costs. If you wish, you may request an extra cleaning, of course, at an additional cost.

Our residential area has several shops and four restaurants, 200 to 300 meters from Villa Andrea. The small supermarket is open every day so fresh bread is available every day! There is also a hairdresser and there are three bars.

The neighborhood has its own large swimming pool and two tennis courts (about 100 meters from Villa Andrea), these are only by using the inhabitants of the neighborhood. GREAT! The swimming pool has a deep section and therefore a lifeguard must always be present. There is a separate shallow bath for small children. Sunbathing around the whole. This swimming pool is open from May to October. The two tennis courts (gravel) are often unattended, you do not have to reserve.
There is a playground and there are two jeux bowls.

In addition to a wonderful climate, Andalusia offers a lot of culture. Of the long Moorish predominance there is much to see. Of course, as the highlight of the "Alhambra" in Granada but almost everywhere you will find something from the impressive history. Málaga (birthplace of Picasso, Picasso Museum) also has traces of the Moorish period. There is a beautiful bullfighting arena.Córdoba, Ronda, Sevilla, Gibraltar, everything is interesting! The unique "pueblos blancos" (white villages) deserve your visit. Frigiliana is considered the most beautiful white village, located 4 km north of Nerja. Also Torrox, Sayalonga and Cómpeta are close by. When are you going to look at it?

There are many and different types of beaches in the area. I mention some:
- Elongated sandy beaches nearby in Torrox Costa and El Morche;
- the small idyllic beaches of Nerja, for example, Playa Burriana, Playa de Torrecilla and Playa Calahonda;
- small sheltered beaches east of Maro; A single beach is here naked beach.
- authentic, simple beaches at Mesquitilla. About all these beaches we can advise you.

For the beach there are lightweight aluminum chairs, umbrellas and all kinds of toys for the children: air beds, straps, scopes, etc. etc.

It overlooks the wide river valley that is mainly used as an agricultural area. In the distance we see the sea and the high mountains. We think the mild winters are ideal. TORROX has the best climate in Europe!! In the evening barbecuing is almost always possible here!!

The easiest way to go to Villa Andrea is by plane. Malaga Airport is 55 km from Villa Andrea. Several airlines (eg Transavia, Ryanair and Vueling) fly directly. In about 6 to 7 hours you will be from door to door.
We always rent a car at the airport; That's already for 59 euros a week. Of course, with the car you can, it is 2350 km from Utrecht. The entire route is motorway, 25 km away.
The fastest route is via Bordeaux and Madrid.
In France to Bordeaux toll road, in Spain no toll roads.

Many people want to exchange the long, gray Dutch winters for a while for the sun. That's excellent on the Spanish south coast: here you have the most days of sunshine in Europe, averaging 320 a year! The name Costa del Sol says it. At night it will not be colder than 10 gr. During the day it is often around 20 gr, even in the middle of winter! Villa Andrea has air conditioning / inverter, a fireplace (for the evening), a mobile gas stove and 2 wall heaters. So sunny and hot the winter, who does not want it now?
Inland, on the high mountain peaks (see picture, more than 2000 m. High!), Some snow may fall, but on the coast it will be wonderful, here you rarely need a jacket!

There is a heated swimming pool in our garden. The pool is about 3 by 4 meters and 1.5 meters deep. The water is heated at your request, it does not need .. The part of the garden around the pool is terrace. There is an outdoor shower and there are 6 sun loungers.
There is a "jetstream" in the swimming pool, so you can really swim! This strong water jet can also be used as a massage beam. The terrace to the swimming pool can be closed.
In addition, the large, quiet swimming pool for the district residents (open from May to October) remains very attractive, which is much bigger. And of course the SEA ....

The cozy boulevard of Torrox costa is 1.5 km away. The promenade is 2 km long and has numerous shops, restaurants and many terraces. Everywhere you can rent sunbeds on the beach. For small children there is a playground next to the terraces.
You can walk well from "Villa Andrea"; In a few minutes you are by car.
Close to the promenade is the big market of Torrox Costa on Monday.

The manager (an Englishman) lives nearby and handles the key to you.
The gardener is arranged to give water and to take care of the garden.
The pool maintenance man comes every week to keep the water quality perfect.
To the pool terrace and the outside staircase (to the roof terrace) are lockable fences placed, so safe for your children.
