The apartment will of course be neatly delivered on arrival, there are hand soap pumps available and cleaning products for interim cleaning. For a fee of eur 75.00 our care taker will come and clean extra.
The urbanization, with well-kept garden, is fully fenced and has CCTV with 24 hour surveillance. There are 2 swimming pools; The small swimming pool with sun terrace is available all year round, in principle from 15 June to 15 September (subject to change) also the large swimming pool with spacious sun terrace. The large swimming pool is about 30 meters from the apartment, centrally located in the urbanization, the small pool is less than 100 meters, is on the outside and has views over the golf course. Lightweight chairs for use by the pool are provided in the apartment.
Cala de Mijas, a 5-minute drive away and with a large parking lot near the center and access to the beach, is a nice village with
Beautiful sandy beach, long promenade, many nice restaurants and (tapas) bars, chiringitos, and good facilities as a medical center. Of course some bakeries, supermarkets such as Aldi, Lidl and Mercadona and 2 x a week a local market. There are many golf courses in the area including the three 18-hole courses at La Cala, Santana and Chaparral and Lauro golf is 25 minutes away. Of course also many courses around Marbella and Estepona. You can walk for hours on the boulevard that stretches along the coast and is occupied by nice chirunguitos, cozy Spanish eateries.
Fuengirola can be reached within 15 minutes and is lively all year round, the shops open until late and especially on weekends busy with Spaniards enjoying life. Marbella with its old center, with nice tapas bars in the streets around the "orange square" is only 25 minutes away.
Malaga, the airport is 30 minutes drive. Car rental is highly recommended. Parking space in the underground closed car park.
The apartment has been completely refurnished in the spring of 2018 including new beds, linen and outdoor furniture and is well maintained and renewed where necessary. So you will be staying in a beautiful and fresh apartment. On arrival you will always find coffee and tea and there is a bottle of wine and a beer ready for you so that you can enjoy it immediately.
This apartment can also be heated in winter with modern air conditioning / heating system and towel radiator in the master bathroom. La Cala de Mijas and Fuengirola are villages where many Spaniards live and are therefore also "lively" in winter with nice places to eat and drink where the locals like to stay.
